The incredible Andy - I think his name was Andy. He spoke with incredible gusto, the air, swagger and confidence of a gentleman from 1800’s. He knew a lot about tea, and had my friends hanging on every word. I’m a bit of a stickler for questions and catching tour guides out. There was no getting past him. He didn’t just like doughnuts, he lived them. Several locals name checked him as he wandered Borough, he seemed to know everyone. His knowledge was incredible. Probably a bit of a jobsworth. But I think when you’re the customer that’s a brilliant attribute to have. If you go for this tour you won’t regret it. But you simply have to ask for Andy. My girlfriend admitted she had a bit of a crush on him. Which was a bit annoying

Great introduction to Londontown! - My boyfriend and I took this tour with Andy, on our first day in London and he did not disappoint! We loved every donut and were thrilled to have branded bags to carry our leftovers (there were plenty!) Andy’s knowledge of London history and fun facts kept us engaged, entertained and our bellies full! Thanks again, highly recommend to anyone visiting London for the first time. It’s a great way to get your bearings, we felt quite comfortable walking around town on our own after.

A unique, fascinating, and tasty experience good for visitors or even locals. - “My father grew up a few blocks from here, and he’s amused at what the neighborhood has turned into.” This begins a special kind of tour, led by Andy, a special kind of tour guide. This tour is sufficiently unique that it is great tour to go in even if you live in London or are a frequent visitor. The tour is in and around Southwark, one of London’s oldest neighborhoods. Andy is clearly passionate about both history and food. Over the course of two hours, he weaves a story of the area, its connection to London Bridge as a conduit for goods into the city since Roman times and its rough character that has gentrified over time. We saw unique sites neither of us had heard of in several past trips to London. I ask some pretty obtuse questions and Andy was able to answer all of them. The donut stops were also unique and amazing, each different from one another (and including a Michelin-starred establishment!). The tea in the middle was a welcome break from sugary starch. Andy also gave us great reccys for the rest of our trip. Really super.

Wow! Great tour, excellent guide and the donuts… oh the donuts! - This tour was an awesome way to spend a Saturday morning while in London. Bhavani was an awesome guide sharing so much information about London and specifically the area around the Borough Market. And the donuts… wow! They were all incredible! My favorite is a toss-up between the dark chocolate at Crosstown and the raspberry filled from St.John’s. I highly recommend the tour and Bhavani!!

Dough nut miss this tour! - The Underground Donut Tour is a diamond in the rough, which is beginning to catch on big time. We were blest to have Alex, a gastronomic aficionado, along with his apprentice, Andy as our guides.
We saw several significant sites and heard many inside stories, as we stopped at four excellent “donutteries” and an exotic tea shop. Be forewarned that you will get a very substantial donut at each store and will likely be carrying tomorrow’s breakfast home with you. Also, if you don’t like tea, you have a plethora of iced concoctions tailored to suit your fancy!
Overall, it was an excellent alternative to the standard London tour.
Bravo!

Delicious Donuts & A Proposal in London - Oscar was a wonderful tour guide!! We had so much fun tasting a plethora of delicious donuts, a variety of refreshing tea, and a lot of laughs along the way. Mix that with some fascinating history and it was a 10/10 experience. It ended with a proposal at Tower Bridge (she said yes!!), and Oscar captured the moment with picturesque photography. I would absolutely recommend the Underground Donut Tour to anyone looking to learn about London, with some personality and sweet treats to boot. Thank you so much Oscar, we will remember this forever!

- Let me start by saying, I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to have an unconventional walking tour experience that blows any stodgy hodgepodge historical tour out of the water. Our tour guides Oscar, Jasmine, and Sarah felt like long lost friends by the end of the tour, and my party of 3 enjoyed every stop. 10/10 experience!
