Brilliant couple of hours, perfect for a rainy day at the seaside! - Staff were lovely, friendly and informative. Our visit started with a greeting from a friendly lady who told us all about the recently refurbished underwater viewing tunnel. As we explored the centre, we particularly enjoyed the Penguin talk and the Ranger talk, where we had the opportunity to 'stroke' a millipede and a giant snail. Apart from the amazing variety of fishes, we saw jellyfish, seahorses, anemones, starfish, crocodiles, axolotls, sharks, stick insects and leaf-cutter ants... Everything you'd expect from an aquarium and more! Our visit was nicely rounded off by a VR experience (additional charge), with yet another friendly member of staff, Jackie, who kindly advised us on where to eat in the local area.

One of Great Yarmouth’s best attractions - Been here many times when the children were little, but decided to go back now we are all adults. Was brilliant being able to take our time and read all the literature and talk to the knowledgeable staff, which you can’t always do with little ones in tow. Love that HMS Gloucester features in the huge tunnel tank. Also the insect station with millipedes, stick insects and leaf cutter ants was new and welcome. Combined our visit with the VR experience, I can recommend the rays video, which was novel and informative. Finished the day off with a trip on the Yarmouth wheel, which gave a unique Birds Eye view of the strip and the whole town on a beautiful sunny day. A memorable fun packed day for all.

A great attraction - We visited here today while on holiday and we had a fab time! We walked over to penguins and watched them being fed and a talk about the penguins which were interesting and cute to watch!. After penguin we then went to the virtual reality and omg that was soooooo fun!! We swam with the whales and omg what an experience and my partner done the rollercoaster; definitely worth paying the money for this guy's few good different options and very much worth it so exciting. Thanks to Jackie the lovely staff member for understanding our needs and being so helpful and funny!! Overall loved the attraction so much to see and do and brilliant staff interaction Big shout out to Jackie and harry the ranger in the insects hut brilliant on information and very informative and professional at there jobs so thank you Definitely be back!

Okay for an hour or so. - Took about 1 hour to go round here so not the biggest sea life centre. Some interesting creatures in here though , and the staff were helpful .

Staff great but aquarium was lacking - Pre booked online it didn't tell me the tunnel and other things were closed otherwise wouldn't have booked as it is such a small place walked it in 7 minutes we live 3 hour drive away so the 50% off next time ticket is useless as it is only for this aquarium and has a time limit so very disappointing for 25 pound a ticket but staff are all lovely

Mixed - Good bits first. The lady at the desk was very quick to point out some parts were closed. We knew but appreciated it was made clear. The staff we encountered throughout were all very engaging and lovely. Some of the tanks looked good and nice environments. The not so good. Despite having a good section closed they are still charging full price! You get a discount voucher for your next visit which smacks as a bit unfair. Some parts the enclosures and tanks looked a bit dated compared to other places we have been. Gift shop was quite expensive

Not the best - Very busy. Far too many people. Couldn’t see much as people were bumping in to me and my children. Missed the penguins as nothing showed arrows or ways to go. Really disappointing Easter trail. To get 1 sweet and a sicker for a complete competition. Bit upsetting for my 4 year old who was so eager to learn. For the price for my family it was disheartening I don’t think we will come again as we came out more stressed than we went in. People jumping in the way. Stepping on toes. Pushing my little one out the way. Members of staff I felt just turned a blind eye. On what was meant to be a lovely Easter Sunday turned in to a disaster

Not worth the money - Absolutely tiny for the price was around and out in 15 mins . They also do not accept the access card for disabilities and carers u have to have a letter which due to having the access cards we don't carry letters with us anymore .

Horrendous attraction. - Absolute let down. We drove from Ipswich for a family day out, and to say we were disappointed was an understatement. It was so dark and full The fish were ugly and scary in fact, there were barely any bright fishes The place was tiny and is in need of a fill refurb The gift shop was more exciting than the actual attraction Do not waste your time £20 per adult, I wouldn’t even pay £5.
