After admiring old and new lava flows we will proceed on foot to the inner part of old craters. The charming panorama and the picturesque scenery will give us the feeling of being on the moon.
After a short break, the hike will continue with a visit, carrying helmet and torch, inside a lava cave to admire a unique spectacle.
Walking through a luxuriant vegetation, we will finally admire the spectacular Valle del Bove.

Excellent tour- highly recommended! - Excellent tour. Very well organised and pick up from our hotel was punctual/at the time we were given in advance. Special thanks for our guide (IORGA- sorry if I have spelt this wrong!). Informative, funny, enthusiastic and helpful. Thank you :)

Etna tour - Very good tour with friendly, knowledgeable guides.

Fun while you learn - Loved our guide Daphne's enthusiasm, humour and knowledge. She's also a teacher and you can tell she transfers those skills into explaining the various aspects of Etna. We were also warned of the throngs of (fellow) tourists we would see once we arrived at the parking lot. You go for a light hike and if you have bad knees ask for a hiking pole. My wife uses a cane and Daphne and the group were all very patient with a slightly slower pace. If you are a serious hiker another type of tour might be more appropriate, but for the causally volcanoe curious this tour is perfect.

Excellent - Whilst we didn't get to see all of the scenery due to the mist/clouds, it was thoroughly enjoyable, and our guide was fantastic. Friendly, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. Thank you Daphne 😁

Fantastic Experience. - Amazing views. The tour guide was very nice and very knowledgeable. Even provided Etna wine at the top! Didn't do much hiking but it was good to see all different landscapes of the volcano.

Fantastic tour of Mt Etna from Catania - Gaetano was an excellent guide! We got to hike part of the lower level of Etna's craters as he have the group 45 mins of free hiker time. Excellent tour - about 6 hours.

An experience! - We had a great guide in Tano! Told a lot and impressive places! First through the caves and then an extensive walk through the craters. The view was beautiful, Tip: bring good shoes.

Terrible tour group company Etna East - My comments will cover the tour company. It was unacceptable that Etna East company use such a worn down van to transport its customers. Torn seats with temporary stretch fabric, NO WORKING AC in 30+ temperatures!! Truly a major disappointment as I would recommend all to avoid this tour group company.
