After admiring old and new lava flows we will proceed on foot to the inner part of old craters. The charming panorama and the picturesque scenery will give us the feeling of being on the moon.
After a short break, the hike will continue with a visit, carrying helmet and torch, inside a lava cave to admire a unique spectacle.
Walking through a luxuriant vegetation, we will finally admire the spectacular Valle del Bove.

Superb - Great visit we were on the southern part. Walk with children on the craters within walking distance. Large parking. Restaurants and qq souvenir shops on site. We did it without a guide. Cover well because low temperature and wind bcp

Unique landscape! - With our guide Elia, we made several stops: the Bove valley, a cave where lava had passed and a mini trek on the highest Silvestri crater. The morning began at the predetermined meeting point, Elijah immediately and during the trip told us the story of Etna, showed us the side craters called "arancini" (many green hills that were originally craters). We climbed from Zafferana Etnea and went down the road that suffered the most recent eruptions. Thanks to Elijah we have also known many anecdotes of Etna. Entering one of the 295 lava caves was interesting! Mini trekking is suitable for everyone and next time I would like to go up to the summit craters.
Elia has managed to transmit so much passion for this mountain that is an active volcano and that Catanians consider a mother. Super recommended tour, thanks Elia of Etna East!!!!!

An enjoyable morning tour to Mt Etna NP. - We were picked up near our Hotel and joined another 6 people on the tour in a mini van. Our guide was friendly informative and professional. We visited the Ox Valley followed by entering a Lava cave and travelled out at another end. We stopped at Refugio G Sapienza (2000M) and walked up to view a number of craters. The guide offered us wine and Italian biscuits at the end of the walk. A very enjoyable day. Came back on another route. The day was warm and sunny. Etna erupted that day too.

A good introduction to mount Etna - Very interesting tour, visiting a lava tube and walking on the lava fields around the Sylvestri crater. Easy, short hike suited to all abilities. Friendly and knowledgeable guide.
