Highlights
- Etna Est - Start from your accommodation.
- Mount Etna - Along the trail that will take us up to 2000mt a.s.l., our guide will tell you about how the highest volcano in Europe was born, without leaving the aspects related to flora and fauna that characterize it. After admiring old and new lava flows we will proceed on foot to the inner part of old craters. The charming panorama and the picturesque scenery will give us the feeling of being on the moon.
After a short break, the hike will continue with a visit, carrying helmet and torch, inside a lava cave to admire a unique spectacle.
Walking through a luxuriant vegetation, we will finally admire the spectacular Valle del Bove.

Fun experience - Had a great time touring Etna. The group was well organised, having people of similar ages. Our guide, Dario, was quite knowledgable about geology, helpful and induced the tour with some Italian humor. Can warmly recommend.

Trip with a volcano enthusiast - Our guide Leonardo was a real volcano enthusiast with a great knowledge of volcanoes and Sicily. We highly recommend him.

Informative tour with cave visit - Our guide Iorga was a fantastic mix of volcano expert and entertainer. The tour stops at a lookout, a volcanic cave and just below the top of the volcano. Always accompanied by Iorga's explanations and jokes. We were picked up from the hotel, everything went great. Driving up there alone in the car, you want to save the stress. Thanks for the great tour!

Worth it! - This was a beautiful experience, we learned a lot and saw amazing views. Guide was very knowledgeable and did the tour in 3 languages to accommodate all. I wouldn’t recommend bringing young children or for older adults, as some of the hike was steep (though there is an option to sit and not go as high with the rest of the group).

Must do trip - Geatano was a great guide: he was very knowledgeable about the history of the etna, the chemical processes within the vulcano, and the vegetation in the area. He was also very friendly and considerate of my sister's car sickness during the bus trip. All in all a great experience!

Fantastic. - We spent a very interesting morning with Maurizio our Guide.
We visited a cave and went hiking on the east side of Etna.
Maurizio gave us a lot of information and answered exhaustively to all our questions.
