First stop in Gratteri, a small medieval village of ancient origin, at 700m above sea level. One of the most fascinating features of Gratteri is the captivating view of the sea and the coast: a real “terrace overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea”.
- Castelbuono - Stop to discover Castelbuono, a small medieval town full of life, history and picturesque corners. The walk passes through the main monuments (it is possible to visit the Castle of Ventimiglia which houses an ancient Palatine Chapel), but also through the most authentic streets.
During the tour, a typical Sicilian aperitif will be included to discover the flavors of our land, including the now world-famous Fiasconaro panettone.
- Santuario Gibilmanna - The journey continues towards the Sanctuary of Gibilmanna, surrounded by splendid Mediterranean vegetation. The sanctuary, dedicated to the Madonna, is perched on Pizzo San Angelo at 800 m above sea level. Its name refers to its location from the Arabic Jebel, meaning mountain or hill.

A tasting of the famous Panettone di Fiasconaro is included.
Next, head to Gratteri, a quaint village of ancient origins, situated 700 meters above sea level. One of Gratteri’s most captivating features is its stunning view of the sea and coast, offering a true “terrace overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea.”
The tour concludes with a visit to a restaurant where a Sicilian aperitif featuring local specialties will be served.
