Goldie Locks: Just Right - I scoured TripAdvisor for a Catamaran excursion and this one was just right (thus the Goldie Locks reference). Boat was <25 people; not too big but not too small and it never felt crowded. The time was about 7 hours; not too long but not too short. There were stops for 30 minutes of watching the dolphins that was close enough to see but far enough away to give them space. The dolphins was about 30 minutes so enough time to see them frolic but not so much time that monotony set in. The snorkeling was good for fish viewing; not the best but not the worst. The 45 minutes was perfect amount of time; again, not too long but not too short. The 15 minute pass by Bénitiers Rock was perfect to get all the photo op angles. The Stop At: Ile aux Benitiers, sure is a time for locals to sell their wears from stalls on the beach but it was the right amount of time at about 30/40 minutes. Staff was friendly. Drinks were plentiful. Music was great (I want the playlist). Food was delicious. I can recommend without hesitation!

Excellent day - Very good communication upstream despite a last minute reservation, good organization, top team, recent catamaran in very good condition and not overcrowded so it was nice, we were even able to do some sailing since the conditions allowed it. In the morning the dolphins were at the rendezvous, too bad they are surrounded by so many boats at the same time but I appreciated the respect (we stay at a distance to observe, and no launching). Weather gloomy at first but big sun soon after, revealing the superb blue of the lagoon. Barbecue on board very good and hearty, an hour on the island of Beniniers which is enough, two breaks snorkeling with very good equipment (important to specify), good atmosphere in all simplicity, in short I had a very good day again thank you!

Very good time with family - Crew at the top, with little care. Clean and not too crowded boat. Barbecue on the boat very good, varied and hearty. Drinks and will good atmosphere on the boat. Very accommodating crew because of our delay due to traffic, they came to pick us up by speed boat. A big thank you to you.

Top top top - We spent a great day on board the catamaran Oceane, the crew was very caring. The general atmosphere is great, we enjoyed seeing dolphins / sperm whales and not racing on them with a speed boat... Lunch was great too! We recommend! ❤️

Wonderful experience - I feel that Mauritius should be known for its cruises. We did three cruises in Mauritius at three different locations and enjoyed each one. This one on the western side with Oceane is excellent. I loved Oceane for their agility of response from the time of doing the booking a month in advance, till we finish the cruise. Quite professional too. They had also organised the pickup from the hotel and the drop off, which made things a bit easier. The cruise journey is quite scenic. Staff quite caring. Very good drinks, cocktails as well as the food. We are vegetarians and they ensured a good vegetarian food for us. Highly appreciated. Sitting on the open deck is what we loved during the cruises. The dolphin watch was a superb experience. We also did a deep sea snorkel as well as the shore snorkel and enjoyed both. On the Island where we stop, there are vendors selling souvenirs at reasonable prices, of course after some bargains. Overall the entire cruise was quite a memorable experience and highly recommended. We would love to come again for the same.

A Perfect Day on the Water - We recently had the pleasure of experiencing a day cruise aboard, and it was nothing short of fantastic. From start to finish, the trip was well-organized and exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're considering a catamaran day cruise, look no further. This experience provided everything we hoped for and more. We left with smiles on our faces and wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. Don't miss out on this incredible adventure!

Great trip, with respect for the dolphins - We had a great trip, with good staff. The staff was respectful with the dolphins, and didn't go too close, as the speedboats do. The trip to îles aux Bénitiers feels like a tourist trap. There's nothing special on this island, they just bring us there to buy things from the many merchants on the beach.

Pretty standard stuff - Pick up from the hotel around 9am.. short drive to an area slightly south of our hotel. Boats fit around 25 people including 3 crew so does not feel crowded. Room in the front, the sides and at the back. We were sailing from around 10am. First short trip to an alcove that has a waterfall. You have to get on to a small boat for the final part of that journey and don’t be surprised if you are in amongst the monkeys. You’ll see. The waterfall itself is a bit small but maybe in the rainy season it pumps up.. Then back on the boat and sail to an area near the reef for snorkelling. The water is about 3-4 feet deep so pretty safe for most levels. Fish are in short supply but apparently you might see a shark. Back on the boat and sail with a really nice lunch to a beach area. They have a BBQ on board and prepare chicken and fish plus salad bread etc. beer, soft drinks and rum and Coke (Mauritian coffee) are included and plentiful. Around 1.30 we land at the beach and are told to wander and chill but it’s a bit of a con. The island is full of tat shops, a bat, restaurant and after 20 minutes we went back to the boat. After all on the boat the beer was free!! The sailing part is the best bit and with 2 and a bit hours either snorkelling or wandering on some beach it feels a bit sneaky to me. But price wise very good value overall and made a difference to sitting around a pool all day.

To flee - Hello we were shocked and very disappointed with the way to approach the dolphins. Boats literally rush at animals and surround them. Looks like a dolphin hunt, and unfortunately in doing that the crew endorses that. Respect for the animal was not there at all. A tourist emptied his packet of chips into the water and the crew told him absolutely nothing, again respect for fauna and flora must be taught constantly. The boat team is nice but absent we did not have much explanation during the cruise. The island au Benitier is a real tourist catcher, and we are walked from point to point to see three fish. The positive: the meal was excellent, and beautiful scenery. We do not recommend if you are respectful of the animal world.
