Outing by catamaran to amber island and genarche islet - We made this catamaran trip via our hotel Veranda Paul et Virginie from where the departure is at the hotel pontoon. It was a very pleasant day and beautiful scenery. The crew was on top and the captain was able to set the mood throughout the trip. Everything was perfect, the home, the music, the snorkeling, the barbecue.... We really recommend this experience Thank you to the crew for a great time

Highlight of our holiday 🏝️ - We had such a great day out! The crew were incredibly professional and made the whole experience feel smooth and enjoyable. Lunch on board was really good, and the islands we visited were absolute paradise. A fantastic trip from start to finish — highly recommend to anyone visiting Mauritius!

Sadly a disappointing outcome. - After living on the island for 11 years and many returning holidays, this was sadly the least successful & least enjoyable of at least a dozen northern islands cruises. Blue Safaris did warn us the day before of the “60% chance of not getting to the islands due to high forecast winds..”. Fair enough. However, on the day the conditions were better than forecast and we chanced upon various other operators who confirmed that they would be infact going. We arrived to be told we will not be. We were told we would only be motoring around the corner to a sheltered bay - no cruise and not to a snorkelling area and yet only offered to reschedule ( we were leaving within two days so not an option) or to forfeit the expense. At this point it should have been offered at a lower price to reflect the reduced expense to them etc. We asked to have at least a 20 minute cruise before anchoring and were told that they had now not taken enough fuel for even that! Once underway the crew kindly stopped beside an area where a 30 minute snorkel was eventually possible - thank you to them. Whilst in the water we discovered that one rudder was damaged/ not in place so we suspect they were hesitant to go into moderate breezes without it..?? Anyway, the crew went thru the motions with limited catering ( no second prawn or fish servings) All tasty but limited. Overall a disappointing outcome as very little effort made to make up for what would normally be a highlight coupled with one crew member being particularly rude when at the end of the day saying “ no more drinks - I want to go home”..and he literally got off and walked away! I suspect we will not target Blue Safaris unless forced to.

Do not use if have allergy - Booked 3 islands trip throw maurtourco for three people and they were advised of a shellfish allergy. I write this review from my experience alone. Due to high seas we didnt get to the north islands we dropped anchor in a bay instead for 3 and a half hours which coukd of done at our hotel. The bbq i noticed they had prawns and when cooking used bare unwashed hads to handle prawns and garlic bread. Putting the bread on the same bbq. The crew dudnt understand i was unable to eat any of the food due to cross contamination. When back at port i asked the office if they knew of the allergy they sais yes. I asked why prawns were on board they kept replying people pay for prawns so we provide them. I said even at putting someones life at risk they gave same reply. Asked if it was a nut allergy they said tbey would not put any on board. Asked so put prawns on the boat again because people pay. Use this company and put your own life at risk if you have an allergy as they dont seem to care
