An authentic flamenco experience - An authentic experience of flamenco - dance, singing and playing guitar. I thought it might be a tourist trap. But not at all. Guitarist, singers and dancers held a sky-high level. It was clear that this was their passion. Recommended! The ticket price was decent.

GREAT CITY GREAT HISTORY - We took the train to Grenada, the last strong-hold of the Moors until the final reconquest of all of Spain by the Catholic monarchs. The Alhambra palace and fortress complex is one of the best preserved monument of Islamic art and architecture in Spain. The sheer size and intricate decoration make the Alhambra a definite a must see. Our guide got us in without any wait and explained the complex.

Flamenco show in Granada - This is a one hour flamenco show in the heart of Granada historic district. We had our dinner and then walked to it. The theatre has a stage and seating rows each with good clear views of the stage. It is quite small theatre yet well organized. The show started on time. There is a nicely stocked bar next to the stage, along with rest rooms. On stage were one guitarist, two male singers and two female flamenco dancers. The sound decibel level was too high at times given the size of the room. Other than that, it was a nice enjoyable intro to Granada style of flamenco – a high energy feet, clap and spin dance performance.

The show takes an hour and is a mixture of singing, flamenco dance and other varieties. - Andalusian singing, flamenco shoehorning, excellent guitarist. In total a cast of 5 people. Armchairs forward without vision hindered, but back silver and general. A little theater of about 100 people. Pretty loud sound.
