Excellent guide for Albaicin and Sacromonte Granada - We had the great pleasure of taking a walking tour with Mario, a guide we met at the Plaza Nueva tour office. Although we were staying in Albaicin, Mario took us to many places we would have never seen or known about. He was very knowledgable regarding the history of the area, personable, and paced the tour well as much of it was uphill. He made it easy and enjoyable for us. The tour of Sacromante was particularly interesting. We highly recommend you ask for him if you have the pleasure of spending time in Granada.

Take this tour, and ask for Marta! - I think this is a must do if you have the opportunity to visit Granada. Our guide, Marta, was exceptional. She was funny, engaging and VERY well informed. She made this trip well worth our time, and left us with some great recommendations for dinner!

Albaizin and Sacromonte walking tour with Mario! - We did this tour with Sixthrills with Mario as our guide. He was a wealth of historical information, good English, and very open to all our questions. The albaicin is a maze of cobbled streets that he navigated with lots of commentary and explanations. The added bonus was that we did NOT get lost! Mario brought us to a number of beautiful view points. We continued to climb to see the caves in Sacromonte. Be aware there are lots of stairs and incline. We were lucky to be the only couple of this tour so Mario was able to accommodate to our tempo and ability. Thank you for a great tour!

educational and fun - Our tour guide was Josh and he was extremely awesome. Not only did Josh make good jokes and know his history, but he also gave tips on certain places to go to in Granada. The thing I liked most was that you could ask him anything about some points of history and he would give a solid and detailed answer to clarify anything you wanted to know more about, despite the short breaks he had to catch his breath, he was more than happy to maintain a conversation. That didn't go unnoticed! Thank you so much! We truly fell in love with the city thanks to you, despite our first bad impression. Now we know more about the city and many things have become clear.

A Visit to a Beautiful Area - The Albaicin and Sacromonte walking tour is a must for a visit to Granada. The views of the city from this location are incredible. Our tour guide was Josh. He was very knowledgable about the history of the area and his English was excellent. The only issue was that he walked very fast. We asked him if he could slow down a bit. This tour has many stairs and going up hill was very strenuous. You really have to be in great shape to do it. One of my friends has compromised lungs and it was very difficult for her. Going a bit more slowly would have helped. He did wait for us, however at each stop. He did not leave us where we left from, although it was close. We knew where we were but there were a couple of young gals who had no idea. All in all, it was worth the time and money.

Great Experience - Josh was an excellent and interesting tour guide who spoke English very well. Tour provided fascinating sights and stories. Great to be able to go into a Sacromonte Cave home. The only addition I would have liked would have been to go into one of the Albaicín homes, though the tour guide, Josh, did point out one that we could visit and explore ourselves later.

Interesting place, depends very much on the guide - Irene our guide was very informative. Her English was very good and she answered all our questions. I only hated waiting so much for everyone, but i guess that's what happens in all groyp tours

Lots of walking and even more information - This tour has two options--a two-hour tour and a four-hour tour. We took the four-hour tour which is somewhat long. The tour includes access to the main attractions which is very good since it is cheaper than paying individual entrance fees. In addition, you have guided tours inside the attractions so you get lots of information and you see things you might miss on a self-guided tour. The difficulty is that the four-hour tour is very long and there are really no breaks for bathrooms or drinks so the two-hour tour might be a good option for most people. There is a lot of walking and it can be tiring if you are not used to walking. The guide was excellent which made the time worthwhile. The tour is not appropriate for young children or people with walking disabilities or problems. There are many cobblestones and uneven stairs. Bring water and a hat.
