Eschker Wedding Celebration - The day after our destination wedding, we went on a private half-day boat tour with Captain Carlos and his amazing crew and it was unforgettable! We snorkeled, visited Iguana Island, saw a shipwreck, danced to fun music, sipped endless rum punch, ate delicious food, and even stopped by Noah’s Ark. The entire experience was a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Captain Carlos and his crew made us feel like family and truly went above and beyond. If you’re looking for a boat tour that’s packed with good vibes, great service, and unforgettable memories, this is it!

Favorite Unique trip with awesome crew! - This was the best tour! The shipwreck was definitely unique and there were some neat fish living around the wreck. Just know that there can be a lot of boat traffic so snorkelers should pay attention. The reef was amazing too. Just wish it had been a little less windy to fully enjoy. Noah’s Ark was a cool place and would love to go back. I give Kudos to the boat crew! Quee (sp?) the driver was a pro and did an amazing job handling the windy ocean. The other two gentleman were very friendly and helpful as well. I was appreciative of them for snorkeling with us. It was cool to see on the guys dive down to retrieve a conch and show us what was inside. Would definitely do again and recommend!

A must do for any adult with a young soul - Amazing crew. These types of adventures often rely heavily on the random strangers vibing. This crew took a mismatch of folks and figured it out. I’ve snorkeled all over the world, this was the most impressive. The gear didn’t leak, fit well and those are controllable. The underwater scenery …breathtaking. That might be luck. I’m pretty sure they brought enough rum punch to kill everyone so don’t worry about going thirsty. I tipped twice as much as I planned and would do it all again. Awesome tour.

Great Experience - This was such an amazing experience. The hospitality from the crew was incredible. We went on several excursions while in Turks & Caicos but this was truly our favorite.

Just Meh... - We were so looking forward to this excursion and was beyond disappointed in the experience from start to finish. I've written several reviews on Trip Advisor, and this, unfortunately, is by far the worst one I've needed to write. In the past, if an experience was poor, I would choose not to post a review, but I thought I would share so others could make their own judgement about booking.
First, this was not a cheap excursion by any means - almost $800 for a party of 4 adults. We completed our waivers online ahead of time, and the tour operator called me about a week before the trip to ask about our meal choices. I was taken a little off guard as we were attending with another couple, so I just took a guess at what they might want. On the day of the excursion, we tried to change one of the choices, and were told that wasn't possible. We booked via Trip Advisor, and the excursion description clearly states we could choose our meal once we arrived at Noah's Ark. We were once again sternly told this was not possible, we had to have what I had communicated a week earlier. More on the food and Noah's Ark in a minute.
Pick up (and drop off) were about the only smooth parts of this excursion. We were picked up right next door to our resort, getting on and off the boat was by ladder so you needed to have some coordination and upper body strength. Tour guides were helpful in assisting us on and off.
Our boat captain and co-captain were honestly the least entertaining staff we've ever encountered on a trip like this, and we've done many. The crew usually makes the trip, and we just found their enthusiasm and interactions lacking. We were given a quick overview of the boat and where we were headed, and then the the rap music was put on full blast for the entirety of the trip. We asked the co-captain to ask the captain to add a mix of music that we all might enjoy dancing and singing to, and we were gifted a couple and then right back to the hard core rap music on full blast. The co-captain did most of the interacting on the boat, outfitting everyone with the snorkel gear, serving drinks. It was an extremely choppy day with very high winds (can't help Mother Nature, we get that part), and our group chose not to snorkel. The co-captain jumped in as the guide for those who wanted to snorkel but if you were not a strong swimmer, this day was not the day to be in the water due to the chop and wind. While most were snorkeling, our captain threw out a fishing line and caught fish for what appeared to be his dinner. When one of us got up to get a beer out of the cooler, he admonished us saying this "wasn't self service" but didn't make any effort to provide any of us a drink. Once everyone was back on board, the snack provided was a small bag of chips per person.
Second snorkel stop was just as choppy and on several occasions the captain had to start up the motor to reposition the boat with all of us in the water. Many of us couldn't hear his instructions, and as boat owners ourselves, it felt very unsafe. However, the beach and water here were amazing! It was shallow enough to touch for the most part, but recommend still wearing your floatation device if the water is choppy!
We made a quick stop by the abandoned ship, and again, the entire narrative lacked any enthusiasm.
Final stop was Noah's Ark, and man, what a disappointment this place was. Our food was served in the back of the barge, pre-made meals in a cardboard container. We again tried to change what we asked for (one meal - we weren't paying attention to the day being Friday, and one of us doesn't eat meat on Friday's for religious reasons). We were again told no, we get what was on our wristband. Her meal went right into the waste basket. My meal was not edible for me - it was Jerk Chicken and was the most spicy I've ever tasted, and the side of rice was hard as a rock from sitting out for who knows how long. Noah's Ark itself is the biggest rip off - $29 for an 8-ounce frozen drink with not even a half shot of alcohol added to it (I watched them make my drink). Absolutely pathetic. (Side note - the menu lists the drink at $25, still a rip off - and they add taxes/fees on top of that, so be prepared!)
We saw several other boats coming back at the same time as us, and we wished we had chose a different excursion to go on - seems like the family friendly boats were having more fun than the adults only crew. We might have chosen to eat lunch at our resort before we hopped on our boat too. We all came home hungry! Even after a crappy experience, we still tipped our captains VERY well, but would never do this excursion again in the future.
If you choose to go, bring a couple of towels and a sweatshirt. Everyone of us got soaked from the wind blowing the water on the boat, and it was cold!
