Along the cycling route, there is also a chance to view the entrance of the lesser-known “Eptastomos” cave. This remarkable chasm is situated near Kalania at an elevation of 1,300 meters. The cave, featuring seven openings, is home to the southernmost glacier in Europe, with temperatures that do not exceed 0°C.
