Pirate ship cruise! - We had a fantastic time! It was an early start but well worth it. The pirate ship is over 3 floors and felt spacious. Outside, we had a choice of where to sit and there was plenty of shaded seating and seats in the sun. Inside there were toilets and a bar area. We got to the Blue Lagoon at 10 am and Robinson's Beach at 2pm. We stayed at both for 1.5 hours. On the beaches there were sun umbrellas for you to borrow but there was a bit of a scramble for these - send your best swimmer out and fast! Your bags can be brought over to the beach on one of the small motorboats, with the non- swimmers. Lunch at 12 pm was good. Meat with rice, salad, bread or for vegetarians/ vegans, butter beans in a tomato sauce, rice, salad and bread. Whilst snorkeling we saw the yellow coral, anemones and plenty of stripy fish! The trip was well organised with clear communication throughout. We all had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend ( 2 adults, 12 year old, 17 year old) 😊

Lovely trip around the peninsula of Sithonia! - Really enjoyed this trip around Sithonia. The boat stops at a beautiful anchorage by Diasporos island; the water is clear, calm and full of life. Lots of fish, whelks, limpets, and it was really nice to see coral in Greek waters! The boat then sails to Robinson beach, a beach that can’t be accessed by road; it’s a gorgeous bit of coastline that is completely undeveloped, as it is still owned by Mount Athos, in the neighboring peninsula. 55 Euros per adult, including transport; you can’t get it cheaper ( we tried!); Lunch was meatballs, rice and salad- very good.

Good value, great day out - Decided on this excursion as recommended by a guest in our hotel.Although the bus ride was 2hrs from our hotel and meant an early start, it was well worth it. Arrived at the ship and was greeted by the captain, who was a real character, his family worked on the ship and were all very pleasant. We had two swim stops and lunch was included. The swim stops were great, you could either swim to the beach or get a lift on a small boat. They provided sun umbrellas also. Water was so clear , I snorkelled for the first time and was excited to see different fish. The captain was fantastic with the children , gave them shells( I also got one because he pranked me and my husband😂)and a model balloon sword which the kids loved. Few snacks and drinks could be bought on the ship and was not overly expensive.Very good trip and well worth the €52 paid.

Shiver me timbers!!!🤣 - What an amazing day out for us and the kids!! The captain, although very intelligent and experienced of the surrounding sea,is so welcoming and hilarious. The lunch was really nice, the sights we saw along route were out of this world and the blue lagoon was such a great place to make once in a lifetime memories. Will definitely book again when we visit Greece!!👍

We didn’t enjoy the full day cruise unfortunately - We went on a day cruise to Mount Athos and Blue Lagoon with the pirate ship. We realized that an 8hours trip was too long and unfortunately we didn’t enjoy it. It was a very hot day and we sailed to Mount Athos first with no break in between for a swim. The pirate ship didn’t approach the shore in Mount Athos, we could see other cruise lines sailing much closer to the shore than ours. We only reached the waters of the Blue Lagoon around 3pm and it was very refreshing to finally swim in the sea. The crew tried to keep us entertained up until 3pm (since 9.15am) but we thought the commentary about Mount Athos and the monasteries was very poor, the lunch offered on board was bad and the quality of the music played was also very poor. None of us (family of 4) enjoyed it unfortunately and we wouldn’t repeat it. On the positive side, the crew was very helpful and polite at all times, the prices at the bar of the ship were reasonable and there was plenty of seating across the ship’s 3 decks so it didn’t feel overcrowded.

Blue Lagoon Rum Seat Cruise - We did the Blue Lagoon Family Tour with the pirate ship via TUI. Terrible, don't do it! There are 400-600 people on the ship and most of the time is sitting on hard benches, many without backrests and the ship does not even sail, but lies at the first bathing station. The two stations at Blue Lagoon and Robinson Beach are good for swimming, the water is nice but the beaches are not worth mentioning. So it has little of a nice boat trip and was more of a lost holiday day.☹️
