Your 2-hour session is led by Dijana, a certified olive oil sommelier whose family has been producing Cretan olive oil for generations.
You’ll taste 4 premium extra virgin olive oils from small Cretan producers. You’ll learn to evaluate olive oil like a professional — identifying aromas, flavor notes, bitterness, and quality markers.
Between tastings, enjoy local Cretan bites — tomato, cucumber, olives, and traditional paximadi — and then get hands-on and make your own traditional Cretan dakos from scratch using fresh local ingredients and, of course, premium Cretan olive oil.
Throughout the session you’ll discover the history of Cretan olive oil, its role in the Mediterranean diet, and its proven health benefits.
