- L’Area Naturale Marina Protetta Tavolara - Punta Coda Cavallo - We will then continue to Tavolara, where we will stop for just over an hour to swim in turquoise water and visit the island and its beaches, where you will be enchanted by discovering the stories linked to the “King of Tavolara”. Tavolara is an island that emerges from the sea like a granite colossus dotted with Mediterranean greenery that gives its name to the marine protected area around it. The island is known as the smallest kingdom in the world. Tavolara is a limestone and granite mountain that emerges from the sea, 560 meters high, four kilometers long, characterized by impervious rocks, by the imposing and dizzying verticality and by the splendid chromatic tones: the green of juniper, rosemary and mastic, combined with the light blue, blue and emerald green of the surrounding waters. Here you can swim, snorkel and enjoy an excellent aperitif with typical Sardinian products washed down with excellent typical Sardinian Vermentino wine.
- Isola Di Molara - You will then sail to Molara, making another stop for swimming and lunch in the splendid area of the “Molara swimming pools ”, where we will have lunch floating on a turquoise sea, a stretch of sea between the island and the coast where the turquoise colour of the water and its transparency will take your breath away and amaze you.
-
Cala Girgolu - On the return sail, weather permitting, the captain will choose another cove for a last swim, choosing between the wonderful bays of Porto Istana, Cala Girgolu, the three sisters of Capo Ceraso or Cala Moresca: the choice will be up to the skipper depending on the wind of the day.
The relaxing return sail will be dedicated to the search for dolphins that often come to visit us in this area: it is not guaranteed! …. they are free … and we want them that way! …
