Something a bit different - This is our second visit here. It's an absolutely fascinating experience. The gardens are really interesting including a poison garden and an orchid garden. (Only open for 20 mins 12.30 to 12.50) The pyramids are interesting as its the history of the guanches who lived in Tenerife before the Spanish settlers. My favourite part is the ethnographic museum part all about the history of the people of Easter Island. There's a replica raft made from reeds which is pretty spectacular. Something here for most I would say. Probably not small children. The cafe is so so but ok. Definitely worth €18 visit.

Interesting also from a botanical point of view. - The pyramids are not as big as those in Egypt, yet the park is fascinating and welcoming. The premium ticket is recommended if you have enough time. A small café with the possibility to rest and refresh is attached to the bazaar.

More than worth it! - What a surprising and beautiful Museumpark. Have you always wanted to know if there is a connection between the pyramids in different countries? Or do you want to know why pyramids are made in this form? Then visit this beautiful museum park. You get an explanation about the impressive life work of Thor Heyerdahl. With the premium ticket you can also visit the botanical garden and poison garden. The visitor café has low prices. The park is highly recommended and the staff is top notch.

Great - Great trip. Very informative. Pyramids are a must see. Kids (3 and 4 years) loved looking for chickens and lizards.

Very good instructions and interesting place to visit. Come early to avoid alot of people, then you will also have a chance to park in front

Invitation to travel through our civilization... - A very pleasant, warm and friendly welcome! A real culture broth that complements knowledge well. A just incredible site: like what, we don’t just see the pyramids in Mexico or Egypt! And finally, discover a man passionate about humanity!

Pyramid and the garden - It is a nice place, which includes a big botanical park with different plants (almost every plant has a reference to some historical facts and personalities). The museum is also interesting, a big part of the exhibition is devoted to the Kon-Tiki expedition, and there is a copy of the boat. There are interesting historical facts, photos, and maps of other expeditions. One can see different types of boats used in old times. In nice weather, the place is worth visiting. There is a small area for kids to play outside the museum, in the park. The cost of the ticket could be less.

Not a big deal. - To justify the price of the visit they built around the pyramids 3 gardens of imported plants and two museums of stolen artifacts. Interesting story of Thor (a total fool), when we went there most of the plants were dry. The ticket price (€18 each) is definitely high compared to what you have to see

Poor attitude by zealous staff upsetting visitors - My brother bought 2 premium tickets on the day for visiting all the attractions. We were near the end when an overzealous member of staff tried to accuse us of not having tickets when in the Polynesian section. To be able to enter that section you have to hold a card to a barrier which my brother did and as we were only issued with the one card we obviously had to do this twice. You also need to do it again to exit the attraction. Even though we showed our card that was not acceptable to him and he asked us to show a receipt as well, which initially we had trouble finding. Although, we showed it on exiting the park when my brother found it. I also voiced my discontent with their staff members attitude. The experience upset me and ruined the rest of my visit, as I was a bit shaken after that being accused of entering a part of the park without a ticket when we had purchased it. We would also have evidence of how much we paid in my brothers bank account statement and their own ticket office. The member of staff also laughably tried to imply we could have climbed over or limber danced under the barrier. 1. My brother currently has a bad back and is taking pain killers for it and i am not fit or thin enough to do such an act. The whole episode was farcical and I certainly would not ever go back there and would not recommend it to other people. I have never in my life been treated like this at any other visitor attraction, so there is no excuse for our shambolic treatment. After, I complained at the end of my visit they tried to offer me vouchers, not sure what for, but I was not interested. I just wanted to voice my discontent at my shabby treatment. I don't like being made out as if I am a cheat or a thief. The attraction was not even expensive and me and my brother can easily afford the fee.
