• Gradina Zmeilor - The Dragons’ Garden is a one-of-a-kind landscape globally and the most renowned and impressive attraction in Sălaj County. Here, we will embark on a 2-hour easy hike. This protected geological and landscape natural reserve is home to some unusual formations. The current shapes of the rocks are the result of erosion (wind, rain, snow, etc.), water, and vegetation, causing their forms to continuously evolve. Consequently, the Dragon rocks may change in appearance or height. The distinctiveness of these rocks draws not only tourists but also researchers.
• Gradina Botanica Vasile Fati Jibou - Situated at an altitude of 272 meters and surrounded by relatively high hills that shield it from cold currents, this garden enjoys a favorable climate for diverse experiments. The Botanical Garden’s collections boast over 5,000 plant species from various parts of the world. The garden’s history began in 1957 when Professor Vasile Fati recognized the potential of the park around the high school (located in Wesselenyi Castle) and sought to develop it. It is the newest botanical garden in the country.
• Cerdacul Cu Lavanda - Imagine sipping lemonade in a place surrounded by lavender, listening to birdsong and the sound of water after a day filled with energy and well-being. This is the idyllic experience offered here.
• Brebi - Hidden in a small town in Sălaj is an uncommon wooden church, notable for its interior paintings where saints are depicted with smiles on their faces. Built over two and a half centuries ago, this church was once famous for its singing icons.
• Porolissum Amphitheatre - Porolissum Fortress is one of the largest and best-preserved Roman castra, located on Pomat Măgura hill near the village of Moigrad Porolissum in Sălaj County, at an altitude of 504 meters. The archaeological site is 15 kilometers from the county seat, Zalău. Despite its vast size, roughly equivalent to 10 football fields, the castrum has remained remarkably well-preserved over time.

Green is the predominant color in this trip, we will travel north of Cluj Napoca with the purpose to discover the natural beauties of Salaj County. We will have five stops: The Garden of Dragons, Jibou Botanical Garden, Lavender Field, Roman Castrum Porolissum and the wooden church from the town of Breb. The tour is suitable for those who want to spend time in nature and to discover new things about the fauna and flora of Romania, it is not a commercial tour and the tourist objectives are less known by the ordinary tourist.
