Great day exploring Glentanner and learning about the region’s history - Great half a day spent outside enjoying the view and learning more about the region. Brian is informative, friendly and was able to engage with individuals as well as the group at large. Prior to our high Brian had excellent communication (there were some moving parts due to weather and meeting participant numbers) however we were kept informed every step of the way. I would recommend the Glentanner High Country Heli Hike for anyone looking to explore the region further and learn more about the history of Glentanner.

Breathtaking views from helicopter - My friend and I recently stayed a few nights at the Glentanner Holiday Park. Whilst there, we went on the heli hike with guide Brian. After waiting for some cloud to lift, we had the most amazing helicopter flight, albeit short, and had the good fortune to see some Tahr running down the steep valley cliffs. Brian's knowledge of the farm's history and of the geology (which I personally love) made for an interesting hike. Highly recommended.

Memorable Glentanner Hike - We had the privilege of a private Heli hike with our guide Bryan. He was full of knowledge of the area, the farm and other interesting facts. It was a delightful afternoon easily accessible for most ages and fitness levels.

Glentanner Heli Hike - We really enjoyed our heli hike experience at Glentanner. We had spectacular weather & the views were just incredible. Brian, our guide, was full of incredibly interesting information about the area, geology, the history of the farm and just an all round lovely guy. The heli flight is stunning and the hike very easy and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend the experience. The morning tea and home cooked slice just topped it all off.... and...not to forget...the snowberries were delicious.

Glentanner heli hike - Short helicopter trip - fantastic views of lake and mountains - followed by a guided walk down. Don't be fooled by the name Heli-Hike, the going is pretty easy, just takes a few hours. Our guide was full of interesting observations and facts and, in case he didn't know, he carried much of his source material with him. Even a break for some lovely home made baking

Above and Beyond: A Spectacular Glentanner Heli Hike Experience - Our Glentanner Heli Hike experience was nothing short of spectacular, starting with an incredible helicopter ride over Lake Pukaki's brilliant turquoise waters. As we started our trek, we were treated to an absolutely perfect, cloudless view of Mount Cook towering against the bright blue sky – a sight our guide Brian mentioned was particularly special that day. Brian's deep knowledge of the region shone throughout our 4-hour trek; he shared fascinating insights about the alpine flora and the geological forces that shaped these magnificent peaks, making the whole experience even more meaningful. The hike itself led us through alpine meadows and was easily managed, and while it is an expensive activity, the combination of the helicopter thrill, Brian's expert guidance, and those unbeatable views of New Zealand's highest peak made it worth every penny. We loved getting to explore the historic field station and even enjoyed some snacks and a short break to fully take in the moment. It was a remarkable day that gave us access to parts of the region we never could have experienced otherwise.
