- Dunadd Fort - There will be time to explore the ancient hill fort at Dunadd. This site, occupied since the Iron Age, was once the capital of Dalriada, an early kingdom of Gaelic Scotland.
- Kilmartin Glen - Within a six-mile radius of Kilmartin village, there are around 800 ancient monuments. Visitors will have approximately 3 hours to explore this extraordinary area. It is recommended to start at the Kilmartin Museum, which houses a wide range of ancient artifacts, including quartz tools used for creating prehistoric rock art.
Nearby, Kilmartin Parish Church offers a remarkable collection of early grave slabs, featuring both early Christian and medieval designs. The Nether Largie standing stones and Temple Wood are within walking distance from the museum.
Temple Wood, with its 13 standing stones, is the picturesque location of the best-preserved stone circle in Kilmartin Glen. The Temple Wood Stone Circle was used from before 3000 BC and continued into the Bronze Age, ending around 1000 BC. A timber ring predated the current stone circle by about 2,000 years.

- Achnabreck Cup and Ring Marks - This large rock outcrop is one of Scotland’s finest examples of prehistoric rock art. The extensive carvings include spirals and large multiple ring marks, some reaching a meter across. There will be time to explore and photograph this historical site.
