Everything but Jamie himself - Loved this tour. Sergio was fun and knowledgeable. Full of surprises. Good ones. The lunch stop was delightful. Back to our ship in plenty of time.

Outlander Dream Experience - Thank you Serca Tours for making this possible, even with the changes to our itinerary due to our cruise changing dates and times, you made it so easy. All our wedding pictures were made possible by the amazing driver/tour guide who took us to all the locations we asked, following the Outlander show. This was no standard tour, eating strawberries from the same farm that provides them to Wimbledon tennis matches, sampled whiskey the Serca owner bottled at a local distillery, and a local quaint lunch with the best Strawberry Tart, delicious! We even requested to see the highland cows “Coos as they are called” and actually feeding and petting them, so cute! All along the way our tour guide was not only wearing a kilt, but knew all the Scottish history as we drove through the beautiful countryside. This wasn’t a “get you in and out tour”, they were all about us enjoying our day. Thank you Sergio and Serca tour for a wedding memory we will never forget!! 💕 The Arnold’s

- Part of my group are Outlander fans and we were looking for an Outlander focused tour. After seeing a YouTube video, I contacted Serca Tours. Unfortunately, they were already booked for our time in port off of our cruise ship. To say we were disappointed was an understatement. However we were offered to be put on a waiting list which I did. When they contacted me to see if we were still interested, we jumped at it. Being new to this cruise, I had many questions regarding pickup and drop-off. I was assured that there would be no issues.
We saw some amazing castles, Midhope, Blackness and Doune and also went to Falkland. All sites in Outlander filming history. Our guide, Sergio was amazing, knowledgeable and gave us detailed information at each site we went to. He even took us by the studio. In Falklands we had lunch then walked around the small town to see some of the sites where Outlander filmed including some back streets. We went into a lovely shop and spent some money! We even had a wee dram of whisky on the bus. Stopping to feed some Highland Coos was great.
This tour did not disappoint. We all had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend Sergio and Serca tours to whomever is looking for a tour. I will go again the next time I visit.

Absolutely the Best - Of all the tours and excursions we took on our British Isles cruise, this was probably our favorite. The sites were beautiful and majestic for sure, but I think what made it extra special was our tour guide. Sergio did a fantastic job! He had so much great information and knew the locations so well. What made it extra special though was how he treated everyone, especially our grandson who is autistic. Sergio really went out of his way to make sure that he was included and had a great time. We highly recommend Serca Tours. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Great job!

Great tour! - This tour was excellent! Our guide, Sergio, was knowledgeable and entertaining. It was great to see the locations from Outlander in person. There’s not a lot of time at each location, but it was enough. The village of Falkland (Inverness in the show) was so quaint and we had lunch in a darling little restaurant.

Best Tour Ever! - The Outlander Tour with Sergio was epic! Sergio was an absolutely wonderful host, driver, and very knowledgeable tour guide! We wouldnt change a single thing about this excursion. The itinerary was fabulous! Its a long day, but it doesnt feel like it. In order to see all of the highlights and multiple castles requires a lot of driving, but it is expertly divided up between driving and time at each site! One of the best tours we have ever done! Sergio deserves all the credit for making this such a perfect experience! Thank you sergio! Dennis and Cheryl Wight

Our driver was informative and interesting, the van comfortable and there were only 6 of us and the castles were all we had hoped for in Scottish castles and Falkland was just charming. Just a great day!!

Scottish Delight and Outlander Highlights - We were looking for an independent shore excursion for our one day port stop in Greenock. We chose the Outlander Day Tour for the variety of sites we would see along the way. The company uses a variety of vehicles depending on how many are booked on a particular day. The day we went we were in a car with a driver/guide, and two vans with about 6 each and a guide were in our caravan that day as we traveled together to the various sites. We have seen Outlander, but are also interested in all the cultural and historical info about Scotland. Our guide Dario was so interesting with his knowledge of Scotland. He wasn't as versed with the Outlander info but that was okay as we met up with the other guides at the sites and Sergio gave us the Outlander info. We had a beautiful September day which made for excellent photos.
Our first stop Blackness Castle was beautiful, on the water. This was the castle that doubled as Ft. William in Outlander. Not too crowded so early which is a plus of independent tours. Dario was always available to take photos of us in front of the castle. Just gorgeous.
Next stop was Midhope Castle, which doubled as Jamie's family home Lallybroch in Outlander. Just as pictured in the series. No one was here as we arrived. You can't tour inside, but the outside is photogenic. Even without access to the inside, it is one of the most iconic castles seen in Outlander IMO. We saw some interesting, possibly wild chickens nearby and saw the building that served as the bird (I think quail) raising building for the property long ago (Dario pointed that out to us).
Onward, to the picturesque town of Falkland. This whole town could be a movie set it is so quaintly amazing. We had a light lunch break at the charming Hayloft Tea Room which was reserved just for our group where you could order soups and sandwiches, etc. It was delightful, tasty, affordable and quick service.
After lunch, we strolled the town and saw the fountain and building which was used in Outlander for the scene where Jamie from the past views Claire in the future combing her hair in the window.
We had a little free time to explore the town before we had a "wee dram" of Scottish whisky from our guides before continuing on through the countryside.
Last castle was Doune which was used as the fictional Castle Leoch, the Scottish Highlands home of Clan Mackenzie in Outlander. Here we were able to have an audio tour with our admission which explained the castle in depth but also the Outlander connections. It was also used in the Monty Python movie, as well as the Game of Thrones pilot. Another scenic, beautiful site.
Lastly we made a quick stop at the Trossacks Woolen Mill which was closed for the day, but we had come for the main attraction: their two "Hairy Coos" (famous Highland cows) They are so adorable. Our guides brought carrots for us to feed them! Right by a scenic field of sheep grazing, with a lovely estate in the background.
Although the ride at the start of the day was mostly expressway to quickly reach our
first destination, the return was more via backroads to avoid traffic and were quite scenic.
This was a full, delightful day. It is a lot of time in the vehicle, but well worth it to us as we chatted with the guide. And we felt like we had enough time at each site. Bathroom breaks were available at each stop. And as it is clearly stated on the Serca website, you do pay for your own admission fees at all 3 castle sites. We still feel the tour quality and value was worth it. There is minimal shopping, but we didn't come for that. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and our time with Dario who was a wealth of information about Scotland. They know exactly when the cruise all aboard time is and make sure you are back to the port in plenty of time. We highly recommend this tour company based on the wonderful day we had. Thank you Serca Tours.

Best Outlander Tour - We had a wonderful day with our guide, Sergio! It was great from beginning to end. The lunch stop he chose for us was perfect! Even though we had some avid Outlander fans mixed with a few non-fans, we ALL had a lot of fun! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!
