Having a great day touring the Highlands! - This was our first daytrip to the Highlands my sister and I had chosen by Discover Scotland Tours. It would take us from Glasgow to Loch Lomond, Glencoe, Fort Augustus and Loch Ness and back to Glasgow, through Pitlochry. The day was unexpectedly good, that Wednesday, 2/19/2025, so we had a brilliant time. We arrived on time in the Buchanan Bus Station, and we met our driver – guide, Scott. An amusing figure, with his funny (improvised?) kilt and his amusing attitude. He was telling jokes and tales all along the way, throwing some pop culture references into the bargain. He kept meeting a fellow driver – guide from another company in almost every stop we had and went on teasing him regularly, which amused us as well. He was driving the very clean and comfortable coach extremely smoothly and, when we encountered some delaying traffic, he was considerate enough to give a call back to the company office and ask what the trouble could have been. Past the delaying spot (actually, it was less than five minutes, it wasn’t that bad) and finding out it was just some public work on the street, he made another call back to the office, to inform them about it, so that any colleagues of his, driving through the same way, would be informed in time as well. Quite good planning and coordination, all around, from everyone. Thankfully, the weather was brilliant, even though a bit windy and extremely cold at a few spots, because of the snow, so we had a great time. I was afraid that we would get dead tired because of the length of our excursion (it was 12 hours long!) but the stops were so many and refreshing, that we didn’t even bother, we came back in good form and not tired at all! All in all, if you love the Highlands and you don’t care about time or miles/day, you can give this tour a shot! Orestis, known to Scott as “Mr. Greece”.

10/10 stars - Our day trip to the Highlands was truly breathtaking. Our bus driver, Dave, was informative, knowledgeable, and personable. He drove carefully, and we enjoyed lovely Scottish music playing in the background. Dave even took requests—his favorite is "Saturday Night" by the Bay City Rollers! While it wasn't on the playlist, we could easily request it to delight our ears. We covered a lot of ground in just one day, and Dave made sure to remind us that there was still so much more to discover in Scotland. His vast knowledge of Scottish history was both factual and entertaining. I cannot recommend this tour enough—it's a small, intimate group setting. Cheers, Dave! You made my day with all the Coos!

10 Stars - Dave was the best tour guide I’ve ever had. I ended up getting ill during the trip, and he checked on me multiple times, and bent over backwards for me. Thanks so much, Dave! Also, the Highlands are spectacular. Anyone visiting Scotland should take this tour.

Best tour guide - Our guide was one of the best I’ve ever had on a tour; he was so nice, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. He gave us such great history about the Highland Scottish people and battles that occurred, plus things that you don’t really read about in books.
