Embark on a private tour to the Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, and Bazaar from Cairo. Explore the ancient wonders, ride camels, discover Pharaonic antiquities, and shop for unique handicrafts.
- Pyramids of Giza - Begin your day with a hotel pick-up by your guide, followed by a visit to The Giza Pyramids, built to last for eternity. Egypt’s pharaohs believed they would become gods in the afterlife and constructed temples and massive pyramid tombs filled with items they would need in the next world. Enjoy a 30-minute camel ride here.
- Great Sphinx - The Great Sphinx is one of the world’s largest sculptures, measuring approximately 240 feet (73 meters) in length and 66 feet (20 meters) in height. It has a lion’s body and a human head with a royal headdress. Carved from a single piece of limestone, remnants of pigment suggest it was once fully painted.
- The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - The Egyptian Museum in Cairo (EMC) is the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East, with over 170,000 artifacts. It boasts the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities globally.
- Khan Al-Khalili - Situated in the heart of Islamic Cairo, near the Medieval walled city of the Saladin Citadel, the Khan el-Khalili market was established on the old burial site of the Fatimid Caliphs, who founded Cairo in the 10th century. Trading in the souk dates back to the 14th century, but its intricately-carved monumental gates and grid-like alleyways were built in the 16th century under Egypt’s last powerful Mamluk ruler. The bazaar is filled with stalls offering colorful lanterns, candles, jewelry, perfumes, musical instruments, and other handicrafts—almost anything you could want! Afterward, you will return to your hotel.
