Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The Great Pyramid of Cheops, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, is the largest and most impressive of the three pyramids on the Giza Plateau. Standing at 146 meters (480 feet), it was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 4,500 years. Built as a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu, it is a testament to ancient Egyptian engineering and precision. The pyramid was originally covered with a fine thick layer of limestone casing, reflecting sunlight and giving it a brilliant appearance. Inside, it houses the King’s Chamber, containing a sarcophagus, and an intricate network of passages and chambers. The Great Pyramid remains an enduring symbol of ancient Egypt’s architectural marvels, attracting visitors from around the world to admire its scale and historical significance.
(Please note that entering the pyramid requires a special ticket, and assistance is available to obtain your ticket).
-
Pyramid of Khafre - Next, visitors will pass by the second highest pyramid in the complex, dedicated to King Chefren or Khafre, the son of King Khufu, the builder of the Great Pyramid. This pyramid is the only one that still has the outer casing at the top. (Please note that entering the pyramids requires a special ticket, and the guide will be happy to assist).
-
Panoramic view of the Pyramids - Visitors will pass by the third pyramid for King Mycurnes, the grandson of King Cheops. The panoramic view of the Pyramids offers a breathtaking perspective of Giza’s ancient wonders, where all three monumental pyramids—Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure—stand alongside three smaller pyramids for the queens. From this vantage point, guests can appreciate their impressive scale and alignment. For a truly unforgettable experience, an optional camel ride is available, providing a unique, close-up view of the pyramids while adding an authentic touch to the journey. The ride lasts around 20 minutes, allowing guests to soak in the panoramic vista from the plateau and capture stunning photos with the majestic pyramids in the background. Whether on foot or atop a camel, this spot offers one of the most iconic and picturesque views in Egypt.

Great Sphinx - The Great Sphinx is one of the most recognizable symbols of ancient Egypt and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The statue measures about 73 meters (240 feet) in length and stands approximately 20 meters (66 feet) tall. It is believed to have been built by King Khafre around 2600 BC, making it one of the oldest known monumental sculptures in Egypt. The Sphinx is carved out of a single ridge of limestone, and its features are believed to represent the Pharaoh’s facial characteristics. While now mostly bare limestone, historical evidence suggests that the Sphinx was once painted in vibrant colors.
Visitors will also explore the Valley Temple of King Khafre, where mummification and purification processes took place. The temple preserved large jars carrying pure oils used for purification, which helped the pharaohs to be reborn and join the afterlife. Ample time is provided for taking pictures, with the tour guide available to assist as they are expert photographers too.
- Nile River - Celebrate an evening in Cairo with a glittering 2-hour dinner cruise along the iconic Nile River. Guests will embark on an elegant Nile cruise boat, soaking up the sparkling city lights, delicious food, and live entertainment as they glide along the beautiful Nile.
