Highly recommend - We’ve been on many guided tours throughout the world, however, this tour with our guide Sayed Mohammed, was by far the best we’ve had! This tour was truly the highlight of our trip. It was informative and he brought every stop to life with fascinating facts, local legends, and insights that you wouldn't find in a guidebook. His dedication to making our experience memorable was unmatched. Our driver added to this experience, with a punctual pick up and comfortable vehicle.

History of the pyramids - Ahmed, our tour guide was amazing. He is passionate and does not mind sharing his wealth of knowledge. He is also thoughtful and caring about what was needed from our tour/day. A bonus, he is a good photographer.

Great experience of the main pyramids in Dashur, Saqqara and Giza, with Sphinx, camel ride and lots of fun - We enjoyed the tour, that met all of our expectations. The young lady guide, Nisme, with the lady driver came to pick us up very early, which allowed for a visit at the Dashur and Saqqara Pyramids first, before the crowds hit there. Very smart move.
We were able to enter the Red Pyramid (of Sneferu, very thight, very oblique corridor) without rubbing shoulders or walls. Good experience, requires some physical fitness and less body height :-).
We followed through to the Saqqara Pyramid (oldest in the world) before stopping for lunch. Lunch was good, prompt and enough, on a nice covered terrace with pyramids view. The facilities there are simple but clean, the service was fast, we enjoyed the meal.
The afternoon was reserved for the three Giza Pyramids and Sphinx, as well as a camel ride, which was fun and interesting.
All in all - very satisfied with the young guide and her planning of the day.
The driver was good, too. She went a bit slower at the beginning of the trip, being very mindful of the car (on bumpy roads). The driving got better (and a little faster) during the day, which allowed us to visit all sights with enough time for strolling around and lingering longer where our interest was (we walked around the pyramid in Dashur - getting a better feeling for the architecture without the crowds).
When starting for the trip, remember the brand and color of the car, as it's easier to spot in a parking lot, where most cars look the same.
Water is provided, but somehow there's never enough water in the desert, and that's the real desert you'll get a taste of, so take an additional bottle with you, just to have it.
When the guide, Nisme, got too enthusiastic with explanations, we kindly asked her to repeat and slow down, which she did promptly and we had fun. Great lady! Thanks for the great day :-), very memorable.

Great day!!! - We had a one-day trip very pleasant. We visited the Giza area, the Pyramids of the Sphinx and the Great Egyptian Museum, took camel walks and ate at a local restaurant. Sayed, our guide was wonderful. Very polite and very informative in what we asked him. An experience that I highly recommend. Worth it!!!

Great with Sayed Amin - Sayed Amin
We had an amazing time with Sayed. He is very mindful of us and took care of us really well. Since he is also an egyptlogist, he was able to share a lot of things especially in history and fun facts about the pyramids. He’s very fun to be with and light to have a conversation with. We also like that he doesn’t impose anything on us or even ask us if we have brought anything which I think is respectful.

It was a memorable time filled with joy, great company, and lots of laughter. We truly appreciated their kindness and the effort they put into making us feel at home. Looking forward to many more visits!

We had an absolutely... - We had an absolutely amazing trip to the pyramids with Dr. Mohamed Youssef and our driver Andrew! Dr. Youssef was incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly, and was happy to accommodate us with spending as much or as little time at a monument as we wanted. If he gives you a recommendation of where to eat in Cairo or Giza, trust it! We loved our tour with both of them and it couldn’t have been a better start to our honeymoon adventure of a lifetime.

Great history but too inflexible for a private tour - I will start with saying that having done a dozen private tours over the years in different countries through Viator, I’m used to there being flexibility in where you go and what you see. Not here. They actually offered us to trade off one site for another early in the tour but when we asked, they wouldn’t do it without more money. If we didn’t want to spend as much time in one place we couldn’t make it up in another. We asked to please skip the parts where they take to shops and get the high pressure sales pitches, but they still took us. Anyhow, our guide was super knowledgeable and took great pictures, we were just disappointed in the lack of flexibility of this expensive private tour. We ended up having to go back on a different tour just to see the one or two things that we were right next to that they wouldn’t take us to even though we finished the stops two hours early.
