-old whale skeletons found there. The site reveals evidence for the explanation of one of the greatest mysteries of the evolution of whales: the emergence of the whale as an ocean-going mammal from a previous life as a land-based animal.

Great experience with Mido - We had a fantastic day! Mido brought us safely from destination to destination, spoke excellent English, explained everything clearly, and we also had some lovely conversations. The food was amazing and well-organized. A truly wonderful experience and we saw so many special things. Highly recommended!

On day whale fossil - Everything was Great!!! Mido the tour guide and Amhed the diver were fantastic, professional and always kind. They Help is to better understand the visited places, the desert and the Whale fossils. Thank you again and I fully recommed. Marco

Once in a Lifetimer - I had a solo tour with Osama, my guide, Mustafa and Isham the drivers. Could not speak now highly of their knowledge, skill and hospitality. The day was planned brilliantly, the museums( open and closed space) were exceptional and Osama talked me through it all. The place was beautiful and not a single bad thing to say about any of it. The camp site where we began and ended our day was very cool and all of the inhabitants were all lovely.
The food for lunch was incredible.

Educational and beautiful experience outside Cairo! - Aladdin has guided us through the day. He even arranged for us a typical Egyptian breakfast, it was very tasty!
Aladdin has a lot of knowledge and passion and you can see that in his way of doing things and talking. And he takes beautiful pictures too!
The trip is very well organized and definitely recommended to anyone who wants to do something outside Cairo!

Location and views are fantastic, but dont expect an experienced tour guide! - The tour itself was great, totally worth the visit and going off road was a treat. However the tour guide was inexperienced and was visiting the place for the first time so not very informative. We had to learn about the location through google. The tour company can do better that this.
