Cairo to El-Fayoum Tour

Valley of the Whales (Wadi Al-Hitan) - The first day is dedicated to exploring the marvels of Wadi El Ryan, a Protected Area since 1989.

The adventure begins with a visit to the Wadi Hitan Protected Area, also known as the Valley of the Whales. Situated about 90 km from Fayoum, this UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts 40 million-year-old whale skeletons, showcasing the planet’s rich history. On the way to the Wadi El Rayan Water Falls, there will be a stop at the stunning Mudawara Mountain.

Wadi El Rayan - The next destination is the Wadi Al Ryan Water Falls, located in a natural depression in the western desert, 42m below sea level.

Wadi Rayan is a unique ecosystem featuring two lakes connected by Egypt’s only waterfalls. It was formed in 1970 due to an overflow of drainage water from the farmlands in El-Fayoum.

Magic Lake Camp - The journey continues to The Magic Lake, aptly named for its appearance as a vast spring emerging from nowhere. Here, guests can enjoy a boat tour and sandboarding on the dunes.

As the day concludes, the camp will be set up for an overnight stay under the stars.

Fayoum to Cairo

Cairo - After an unforgettable night of desert camping, filled with wild dancing, music, or serene stargazing under the desert’s HD sky.

Day 2 begins with a beautiful sunrise and a hearty breakfast at the camp. A comfortable vehicle will be ready to transport guests back to Cairo, concluding this memorable journey.

Optionally, guests can visit Qasr Al Rahala, Qusur El Arab, and the Watermelon Valley before returning to Cairo.

Please note that for an additional fee, guests can choose to stay at a hotel in El-Fayoum instead of camping in the desert.
