• Pyramids of Giza - The Egyptologist and tour guide will meet guests in the hotel lobby and drive them to the Giza pyramids. Along the way, they will share fascinating facts about the incredible ancient Egyptians.

Upon arrival at the Giza plateau, guests will receive their entry tickets and begin the day by visiting the great pyramids of Khufu from the outside (an additional ticket is required for an inside visit). There will be opportunities for photography and even climbing a few blocks of the great pyramid. The private tour guide will accompany guests throughout the visit, providing detailed explanations of each monument’s history.

• Great Sphinx - After visiting the great pyramid, guests will drive to a panoramic viewpoint for the best photographs and have the chance to enjoy a camel ride for more photo opportunities.

The panoramic view offers a sight of all the pyramids together, making it the perfect spot for photographs.

Next, guests will drive to the Great Sphinx of Giza. Before visiting this enormous statue, they will pass through the valley temple, where ancient Egyptians mummified the pharaoh’s body before burying it inside his pyramid.

Following this, guests will visit the Great Sphinx of Giza, also known simply as the Sphinx. This limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with a lion’s body and a human head, faces directly from West to East and stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt.

• Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - The private tour guide will pick guests up from the Giza pyramids and drive them to the Saqqara cemetery, which dates back 5000 years. Upon arrival, they will visit Egypt’s oldest pyramid, known as the step pyramid, built by the renowned architect Imhotep. Guests will marvel at this amazing pyramid and take photos.

They will then visit one of the high dignitaries’ tombs, where they will be captivated by the stunning paintings and colors (photos are allowed inside the tombs with mobile phones only). Guests will also have the opportunity to enter one of the pharaoh’s pyramids at no extra charge.

• Memphis and Sakkara - The tour guide will take guests to the final stop of the day tour, where they will explore Memphis, the ancient capital of the Egyptians. Memphis was an ancient city of Egypt, with ruins located on the Nile about 15 km (nearly 10 miles) south of Cairo. It is believed to have been founded as the capital of the Old Kingdom of Egypt around 3100 BC by Pharaoh Menes, the ruler of the first Egyptian dynasty, who united the kingdoms of Upper and Lower Egypt.

Guests will visit the alabaster sphinx, the second largest after the Giza sphinx, and see one of the gigantic statues of Ramses II.
