Efficient and informative pyramids tour - We booked the Cairo: Giza Pyramid, Sakkara & Dahshur Full Day Private Tour with Egypt Best Holidays as an efficient way to see the main sights we wanted to see in a single day.
Islam (driver) and Ashraf (guide) were the perfect dynamic duo to take us around Cairo. Islam was the best driver we had in Cairo traffic — it actually makes a bit difference in shaving 5-10m time every time between sights, and also not getting carsick / worried for your safety. Islam was very entertaining as well and was punctual, which is no easy feat in Cairo traffic
Ashraf was a fantastic guide with deep knowledge of each site and was flexible with pacing and timing to match when we wanted to spend more or less time at a given spot. He gave us the flexibility to customize, but his recommendations were spot on and much appreciated. Ashraf also had a great sense of humor and injected energy into our day
Itinerary was well designed with the reverse order avoiding the crowds. Also helped to start with Darshur and end with Great Pyramids since the typical Cairo / Giza fog in the mornings rolled away by mid afternoon.
Highly recommend this tour provider and specifically Islam and Ashraf - fantastic experience all around

Momentous Moments - My favorite part was visiting Sakkara, the pyramids were amazing and going inside allowed us to see some unique features not found anywhere else. Having a private guide allowed us to ask questions and get detailed answers on what was important to us. Having a private tour allowed us to customize our experience. Our guide, Sam, took the time to explain in detail what we were seeing, what locals were saying, and providing me with detailed information. We had an opportunity to interact with locals and with the help of our guide, Sam, we could have meaningful interactions and achieve greater understanding of the Egyptian culture, the Muslim religion, and past and current Egyptian history.

Our Experience visiting the Pyramids with tour guide Sam - I love going inside of the pyramid at Sakkara! Our guide, Sam, knew just which pyramid would be the most exciting, he saved us some money as he advised us not to pay extra money to go into the great pyramid.

Pyramid tour - Every story sam,our guide, had to tell was very interesting and added so much to each place we visited. He did everything we wanted, gave his opinion and was very helpful. We constantly had to stop for water, food, or the bathroom and he stopped without a single complaint. He rearranged the tour so that it would fit our Schedule better and he even waited a whole hour at our hotel when we were late getting to his tour bus. If you are wanting to visit Egypt and tour, BOOK WITH SAM! You won’t regret it

Fantastic day of sightseeing with an excellent tour guide! - This full day of sightseeing and tourism of some of the larger more well-known sights in and around Cairo was fantastic! Sam, our tour guide was great! He was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about Egyptian history and culture. Sam also helped by improvising on the fly to fill out our day more when our plans changed suddenly. We started the day with a trip to Sakkara where we saw the whole pyramid complex there, learned a lot about the history of the place, and went inside the pyramid there to see actual hieroglyphs! This was one place where Sam’s expertise as a tour guide really shown through as he told us how to handle the locals who would haggle with us. We then went to Dashnur and saw the red and bent pyramids there. We then traveled to a carpet making school and saw just a taste of the vast Egyptian culture. This was a stop recommended by Sam and was a lot of fun. We then went to a store that specializes in papyrus, and received the history of papyrus and its uses by the ancient Egyptians. The was a stop that was also recommended by Sam, and we left here with a souvenir for home. We then went to Giza to see the great pyramids and to ride on camels! Because of buying tickets and souvenirs at previous locations we actually ran out of Egyptian cash, and Sam was gracious enough to cover for our lack of cash so we could pay him back later. We ended our tour with another unexpected stop, this time being an oil and incense shop that was another great spot of culture. Overall Sam was great and has definitely deserves these 5 stars!!

Amazing day in Cairo! - We had the best day and I enjoyed all parts of the tour but my favorite part was riding the camels in the desert at the Giza Pyramids! It was an awesome experience and I am very glad we did this. Sam, our guide was very helpful, informational, and very nice. He did a great job and was very accommodating with our group! He went out of his way to ensure our day was a success and that we were all happy. 10/10 would recommend using this tour for future travelers and would use it again if I were to ever come back in the future. I couldn’t be more happy with how the day went!

Awesome day of Pyramids! - We had an amazing day, and our guide Sam made it happen. He picked us up promptly from the Pyramids Guest House in a clean air -conditioned van and we were on our way. We went to Saqqara first. Sam gave us a lot of interesting facts and info before we went into the pyramid. Next we went to Dashur, and went into the Red Pyramid. We also visited the Great Pyramid and Sphinx. Sam also took us to a carpet making school, a papyrus making gallery, a shop w beautiful scarves, a store with cartoush, and a perfume shop. This was really fun as we got some very neat things that arent the typical cheap souvenirs. Sam arranged all of this as we’d told him what we wanted to do and he was very accommodating and made it happen. He also arranged our camel ride at Giza for us, this was a highlight! We also had a few hours to kill before our flight to Luxor, so he managed our luggage for us all day, and arranged for us to hang out at a hotel a couple of hours before heading to the airport. This was awesome as we had all our luggage and we were tired and hungry. Today was amazing, can’t believe we saw and did everything we have dreamed about. Sam was an awesome guide-Informative, knowledgeable accommodating and just a very nice person. It was a great day!
