Saw and learned a lot , at comfortable pace - We had a wonderful day with Zara. She made it possible to see both Versailles Palace and Giverny in one day without it being rushed or exhausting. She was so knowledgeable, and engaged us in conversation rather than just reciting a canned tour speech. Besides being so knowledgeable, she was very kind. If you want to see both places, take this tour. She planned the timing of the tours to avoid crowds as much as she could. If we are ever back in Paris, I would love to see something else with Zara.

Monet and Versailles - We had such a wonderful day trip to Versailles and Monet Gardens and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Her name was Roseann and we enjoyed our day so much.

Wonderful day at Giverny and Versailles - Spent the day with Lucile as our guide. She was friendly, informative, and did an excellent job of pacing the day for our family. Lucile narrated our day with a mix of historical facts and fun stories that our group from 9 to 68 greatly enjoyed.

Wonderful tour! - Zara was a superb guide. She was so knowledgeable about Claude Monet and the Versailles Palace. We loved our tour and would highly recommend it to anyone! Thank you for a memorable day.

Worth the money travel day outside the city! - This was our 4th Private Viator experience on our Amsterdam/ Paris trip. They have all been exactly what we wanted! We started our day by going to Giverny first then Versailles (after lunch at Giverny-a table had been reserved for us.) André was wildly competent and explained all the art in a compelling way. Versailles is massive but he navigated us seamlessly through the crowds and rooms. I would highly recommend him and Viator in general! Having someone pick you up from your hotel in a large, clean van, provide waters, a concierge service level of attention, AND be so knowledgeable about the sites made for a perfect day. On this tour it was me, my husband, and our two daughters (ages 9 and 10). We all agreed it was a fabulous day!

Brilliant! - Andre is a wealth of knowledge and a very interesting person to spend time with. The chosen itinerary for the day meant we avoided crowds as much as possible, plus he took scenic routes where he could. My parents have issues with walking far and using stairs and he went out of his way to make the day accessible for them. I’m very grateful for the care he took and how he tailored the day for us. This was absolutely worth it and truly the best way to see Versailles and Giverny.

Wonderful Tour! - This was such a wonderful experience and worth every penny. We cannot recommend it enough. Andre was an extremely knowledgeable and kind guide who made the day very memorable. He also gave us extra experiences by taking us through charming little villages and telling us about what we were seeing along the way. We really appreciated that extra effort which helped to acclimate us to the area on our first full day in France. Not only did we see Giverny and Versailles which were absolutely beautiful but we gained a feel for the surrounding area. 10 out of 10 experience!

Great way to see Versailles and Monet’s Garden in one day! - Great guide. We skipped the line and saw everything in one day. Guide was great and full of information!!!! I would highly recommend.

Must Do While in Paris - We really enjoyed the first part of the tour about Monet. Unfortunately, by the time we got to the Versailles Palace, my food poisoning kicked in (not from this tour). What little we saw awed us tremendously. Andre was a great guide. He went out of his way to help me find a pharmacist so I could get some medicine. I can’t thank him enough!

Don't spend your money unless you know who the tour guide will be - Sylvan was remarkably unfriendly to me, my wife, and our son. This was apparent from the very first moment, when he didn't even introduce himself or ask our names until we decided that we needed to take the initiative. There was no personal give and take during the entire day's tour, with zero conversation initiated by Sylvan with any of the three of us. If we asked a question, we would supply an answer, though often in an insulting way - such as incredulously slapping his forehead when we had not heard of a particular artist he mentioned. We have taken many tours with individual and small group tour guides in different spots around the world, and Sylvan was perhaps the least suited for the job, personality-wise, of anyone we have ever encountered. I wonder if the tour company itself was aware of this issue, as we discovered, on arrival to Versailles, that Sylvan does not have the authorization to give guided tours inside and we needed to wait for another tour guide from the company to arrive to bring us in under her authorization (adding a 45 minute delay to our tour). The day was not a complete waste because Versailles itself is spectacular and Giverny is lovely, but we would have easily gotten as much had we visited on our own.
