FANTASTIC! - These sights far exceeded my expectations! The system with the e-tickets worked excellently and we were already admitted to the house at 9:00, although it actually only opens at 9:30. The gardens are just a dream and also the house is really worth seeing.

Excellent tour! Comfortable car and friendly guide. Beautiful gardens and village! - We had a wonderful tour with Doru in early June 2025. He arrived on time and the private car was clean and comfortable. His English was excellent and he taught us about the region during the drive to Giverny. He had pre-purchased tickets so we could immediately enter Monet's garden and house. He let us enjoy the gardens, house, and village at our own pace and met up with us after. The flowers in the garden were gorgeous--lots of poppies in early June. It was still too early for water lilies. We visited on a weekday (Wednesday) so crowds were okay. Highly recommend visiting Giverny with this tour group!

The places where Monet lived - A must for lovers of painting who pass through the area. Logical then to expect large turnouts of the public (highly recommended to book the visit and then take advantage of the skip the line with separate entrance). The visit includes the path inside the house where you can admire the rooms where the painter lived (bedroom, kitchen room) and then continue walking in the large garden that contemplates various floral environments ranging from flowers to flowering plants to aquatic environments with ponds, ponds and bridges.
Open daily (10 a.m.-6 p.m. ) ticket 12€
From the various parking spaces available in the area to get there you cross the village of Giverny, composed of stone houses with flowered corners that frame them

Buy tickets on line to save queuing. - The gardens are stunning and there are so many places to just stand and enjoy the views from. The experience was slightly marred by the heat which was in the 30s plus the number of visitors, which I guess you would expect in July. The house retained a real sense of the artist and his family and how they lived. There seems to be only one set of loos, not well signposted, which didn't seem enough for so many visitors.
Buying tickets on line saved a long queue.

Worth a Stop - Even if you are not an art lover, you will be impressed by the wonderful gardens. So many tulips. The house itself was interesting. They have a very big gift shop, with just about anything that you can imagine with Monet.

Caution when booking online - The facility as a whole is absolutely worth a visit. But until you get there (especially in weddings), you have an odyssey behind you. Buying tickets online alone is a disaster. It is organized through 2 portals. One only sells tickets for 1 person each, the other requires a handling fee. With both you want to know everything about you (almost) up to the color of your underpants, and you have only 15 minutes in total, from clicking the"I want to buy a ticket" to the definitive"I buy "-click. Once this time slot is over, you start all over again and there may be no tickets left for the desired time slot. A propos Time Slot: This means: Selection of the day and hour of visit are mandatory. No - art and relaxation are different.

A garden themed queue for a gift shop! Not worth going to - The saga starts with terrible signage inside the village (and continued within the garden), it was followed by a long queue to get into the garden, despite having a pre-booked timed entry ticket.
Once inside there were so many people it was really unpleasant!
If you wanted to stop to look or photograph anything in the garden (or the house) you felt like you were holding up the massive queue of people behind you.
It felt like a garden themed queue for the huge air conditioned gift shop! Not the place to discover the surroundings and the nature that inspired Monet.
If you love art and/or nature I strongly suggest you visit here in your imagination with the help of a book or the internet and save yourself the heat, the crowds, the money and the disappointment. You’d get more creative inspiration from a botanical garden regardless of its size simply because it would be more peaceful than this themed-theme-park.
There was no interpretation about Monet, his work, life or the garden - and even if there was it was would have been too busy to read.
To the Monet’s Garden organisation: Yesterday was not a nice experience and I won’t be recommending it anyone. But I do know a very experienced Visitor Experience Consultant (not me!), would you like her contact details?

False advertising - The driver was fantastic. Friendly and accommodating. However this was marketed as a private guided tour. The driver had never been there and was told to stay on the car and wait for us. We had no idea where to go and nor did he. We feel this was a rip off and fraudulent advertising. For the price they charged Viator should be ashamed of themselves.
