Additional Information

Any lover of history should take the time to explore Wolf’s Lair, a vast bunker complex set in the scenic region of Masuria, characterised by its forested landscapes and beautiful lakes.

This covert multilevel bunker system out of plain sight, bore witness to significant events of World War II.

In spite of the damage suffered during the German withdrawal in January 1945, Wolf’s Lair continues to command awe with its massive concrete fortifications spread over a large expanse, indicative of the military might of Nazi Germany. Residing here was not just Hitler, but many of the Third Reich’s high ranking officials like Goering, Bormann, Keitel and Jodl, further cementing Wolf’s Lair’s importance.

As we make our return, we will make a stop at one of three locations: Mamerki, home to more historical bunkers, a medieval castle, or a beautifully designed baroque church with stunning interiors. The decision is yours to make!

Awesome Wolf’s Lair Experience - We took the all-day Wolf’s Lair trip from Warsaw. Marcin was our guide and he was unbelievable, an excellent guide. It was great to talk about Polish culture vs the U.S. and some of the history of Poland, Marvin was very knowledgeable about the Wolf’s Lair and gave our kids time to explore some of the bunkers, where it was allowed. After the Wolf’s Lair, we stopped for dinner in Czerniki at small local restaurant. Great food. Highly recommend this tour. It was a great personal family tour without the big groups. Marcin, thank you for the awesome and unforgettable time. My wife, kids, and I fully enjoyed it.

Two thumbs way up high!! 👍🏼👍🏼 - Marcin was an excellent tour guide! We wish we could have him as our guide for all of the tours throughout the week! Not only did he speak great English, he was very friendly, informative, and helpful. Marcin often provided helpful information without us even having to ask and he answered all of our questions without hesitation (believe me, we had a lot). Thank you so much for the tour, we learned a lot!

Better than I expected! - My son and are history buffs and we were excited to find a tour that goes to the Wolf’s Lair. We’re so glad we did! Martin, our guide was phenomenal. His knowledge of the site and WWII in general is vast. He patiently answered my son’s and my young daughter’s fast and strange questions! I knew of the lair before but did not expect it to be that large and complicated. A small tip, watch Tom Cruise’s “Valkyrie” (2008) before going to the lair. It’ll make your visit much more interesting.

A lot more to see than we expected. Well laid out with easygoing walking paths and displays. Very interesting. - A very pleasant drive through the Polish countryside side in a nice minivan with plenty of stops along the way for food or restrooms. Marcin our guide was well spoken in English and very accommodating and did not rush us. He made the effort to make conversation for the entire trip. We would highly recommend this trip and Marcin. Thanks for a memorable day.

Do this tour with Marcin, the best guide! - I highly recommend this tour, and absolutely ask for Marcin as your guide, first of all he is a great driver, we had an eight hours car drive and I always felt safe, he is a very nice guy with a great knowledge of history, ve visited the Wolf’s lair and he told me everything about it in a very good way, I studied history at the university so I can understand if someone knows thing or not, and clearly he is very expert! We had a good lunch in a restaurant chosen by him, the whole tour was fabulous thanks to him!
