• Kinross Winery & Cellar Door - The second stop is Kinross, an excellent venue to explore a variety of wines from multiple labels. In addition to their own wines, the cellar door host will introduce wines from smaller producers and share their fascinating stories. After the wine tasting, there is ample time to enjoy lunch. Kinross offers a menu with a variety of delicious options, including pizzas, platters, small bites, and main courses. Orders are placed and paid for on the day, allowing flexibility to choose according to personal taste and budget.
• Mt Rosa Wines - Mt Rosa is a charming, owner-operated winery located just beneath the striking Nevis Bluff. Nestled among the vines, their newly constructed cellar door provides an elegant setting for a delightful tasting menu. The cellar door host will guide guests through various single-label wine varieties. Their mulled wine is a particular favorite among visitors!
• Waitiri Creek Wines Ltd. - The tasting tour concludes at Waitiri Creek Wines, a charming location set in a beautifully renovated woolshed on the scenic Gibbston Back Road. This serves as the tasting room for Waitiri Creek Wines, a family-owned vineyard with a history dating back to the Gold Rush era. Although they didn’t find literal gold, a century later they believe they have crafted something even more valuable - exceptional wines that embody the essence of the region. Come and experience them firsthand.
