A fun family experience. - we've now done several cooking lessons across SE Asia but we really enjoyed this one. we were collected and brought to the market (am tour) where for about 30 mins we were shown some of the local. produce. then a short drive to the cookery school. we were lewd in our group of 6 by Comma who guided us step by step through the 9 dishes we made. lots of fun and lots of interaction with each other as well as a real hands on experience. we're veggies and alternative ingredients were provided. we had about 45 mins at the end to eat a delicious lunch. if I had to be picky about the timings, we ended up having our lunch at 11.15am, which is a little early for most people. a great experience!

Memorable experience - Before the class started I thought it was just a regular cooking class, however I was wrong and it was way better then what I expected. Had a very interesting day where our group went to drive to the market to learn about new different fruits, and also had the opportunity to try Bali snacks. Driver and cooking class instructor were very friendly in answering my questions. Once we driven back to the cooking class, we made a variety of different Balinese dishes with preparation of different techniques. Once all the dishes were finished it was presented and we get to eat the lunch buffet.

Cooking School - This was a truly amazing experience. We were picked up in the morning and drove to where we met a lovely lady who took us through a market explaining all the different fruits and vegetables that are used in Balinese cooking. We the. Stopped at a rice field were it was explained how the people grow and cultivate their rice. We were then back in the car and into the cooking school. This was one of the best things we did on our trip. We cooked 9 different things from scratch and then we all got to sit down and eat our food. The explanations were really clear and easy to follow and the food was delicious. We would.highly recommended this for anyone coming to Bali

Traditional Balinese cuisine - We had a lovely morning, went to local food markets, then rice field and onto a family home with large kitchen area and appliances. There were 12 people participating but lots of support from the chef and family members. Really an excellent experience. Would recommend

Great cooking experience in rural Bali - Great experience of Balinese cooking. We were in a small group of just 4 of us which made it feel very personalised. Try not to eat before you go as there was a lot of food at the end! Our 17 year old daughter also enjoyed it too

Good Overall Experience; Cooking Groups too Laege - The market & rice field visits were exceptional. The cooking class should be small groups only with no large group demos or instructions. The pick-up time was changed via WhatsApp message the night before the class; the time needs to be the same as what is advertised on TripAdvisor. The operator ended up accommodating us by picking us up at our hotel at the earlier meeting time, which was helpful. All staff were friendly.
