Must do! - We had such an amazing time on this tour. We were picked up at 8am from our hotel in Ubud and brought to the local morning market to take a look at the various fruits, vegetable and spices available. It was so much fun and our guide was so knowledgeable. After a quick drive to the class, our guide went through the ingredients and recipes we’d be making. Our guide walked us through the steps for making each of the 9 Balinese dishes. The food was amazing and they were exceptionally accommodating to my husband’s intolerances. It was such a wonderful experience. The class is so organized and run so professionally. My husband and I had a wonderful time on this tour. Everyone was so friendly and it was such a pleasure to experience! We highly recommend taking a Balinese cooking class! It was one of our favourite activities in Bali!!

Incredible Evening - What an incredible evening. Learning to cook new dishes, and then sharing them with kindred souls from around the world, is my favorite thing to do when traveling. Putu class was no exception! She greeted us like an old friend and taught us the art of grinding spices into Basa Gede paste, wrapping ground chicken in banana leaves, and carefully balancing sweet, salty, sour, and heat. Chicken Sate, Sweet Fried Tempeh, Ayam Bumbu, Mie Goreng, Sticky Rice Cake… each dish more sinful then the next. If you’re in Bali… this should absolutely be on your “Must-Do-List”!

Yummy and fun. - Had a great time, exploring the local outdoor market and trying some unique fruits and other foods. Our guide Yogi was easy to understand,, friendly, and very knowledgeable! Our class was full yet the flow was very smooth and I felt like we got just enough hands-on experience to be beneficial if we wanted to re-create any of the recipes. A fun class!

Great day trip. Great staff and super clean work are - Wonderful experience. The staff was great, the food yummy, the market trip informative and delicious. Class size just the right size to get to know everyone and make it feel like a a group of friends.

A brilliant morning with... - A brilliant morning with Yogi our guide / cooking master. Loved our time at the market seeing and trying fruits completely new to me and the Balinese cakes. The cooking session was well organised and great fun. Would highly recommend.

good but needs better instructions - cooking classes is not in city center Ubad. It is about a half hour to 40 minute drive outside the city. You only get to go to the market if you do the morning cooking class. The food is good and there is a lot of it.
