Uluru - highly recommended - Very happy with the trip to Uluru. Our driver, Miguel, and our guide, Yad, were both great. Especially appreciated the cold towels on the hot day.

Fantastic experience delivered with a friendly professionalism. - We were collected from our hotel by a very comfortable, smart coach and helpful, happy driver. Jon gave a commentary during the long journey which was so good that I enjoyed every kilometre. He let us rest in between a wealth of information and story telling of early farmers, explorers, first nation people's, the environment and places of interest. A natural, enthusiastic guide, we felt safe and informed but also entertained. We had a brief lunch then over to the Uluru centre. We could have been longer at the centre, but the tour was next, and the high light of the day. Yad was very organised and led us confidently. His creation stories were well described and even a little acted out! He shared his knowledge with enthusiasm but also with great respect. He was friendly and thoughtful....so polite! We enjoyed our BBQ very much. I am vegetarian so pre ordered my meal and I was surprised at how much care was taken by Yad and the team. Jon drove us back to Alice Springs and despite the late hour we never felt anything but safe and cared for. He laughed with all the guests, as if he had known us all for years. He helped others with their luggage, ensuring they were delivered to their hotels safely. The dedication and attention to detail by these staff members made the trip even more enjoyable. A trip to Uluru is a never to be forgotten experience and we hope to repeat in the future.

Great Way to Visit Ayers Rock - This was an excellent way to see Uluru without having to stay in Ayer’s Rock. The 450 km trip, each way, required a long five-and-a-half-hour ride in the bus. Our driver, Miguel, handled the job very professionally. Once we arrived in Ayer’s Rock Yad took over as our driver/guide and kept everyone on track. He was very good at telling us the story about the Aboriginal peoples and their relationship with Uluru. Our BBQ dinner, with drinks, was well organized and delicious. We all had time to enjoy our meal and drinks and take in sunset over Uluru.

Great, But Tiring - I was picked up right on time. The drivers and guide were fantastic. Sebastian drove the luxury tour bus to Yulara and back. He's a pro. Imagine how challenging it is to drive 5 hours, in the dark, on a 2-lane road? 3 times we encountered animals. That was scary, but Sebastian handled it well. Yad was our driver in Yulara over to Uluru, our guide around Ayers Rock and the grill master for the sunset BBQ. He was so knowledge and kind. He had apples for the group and even provided us with ice cold towels during our walk. It was so appreciated!!! The food was good and they had good options for vegetarians. I learned a lot about the aboriginal people from that area and seeing the rock up close and from a distance was amazing and rather spiritual. The only problem with this tour is that the drive from and back to Alice Springs is sooo long and tiring - 5 hours each way!!! I recommend spending a couple of days in Alice Springs, take the tour, but stay at least a second day in Yulara.

Go with Emu! - First - January is the wrong time of year to visit Uluru…forecast was for about 43C! As it was, as we arrived we got cloud cover, and even rain and wind. It made the day much more pleasant, and we got the unique experience of seeing the Rock WET! I recommend Emu over the other tour providers for this reason…we were transported in a full size motorcoach, which was very comfortable. The other tour companies used smaller buses or large trucks. I have no doubt the other companies provide a fine tour, but I found the comfort and service with Emu exceptional. Our drivers/guides John and Yad gave an excellent commentary, about central Australia all the way from Alice Springs, and, of course, at Uluru. Many thanks!

Alice to Uluru Sunset bbq day trip. - I was so looking forward to visiting - I am an Aussie from Adelaide. And it did not disappoint! Whilst a really long day I knew that in advance. The guide (John) was great with the right mix of humour, storytelling and facts. The bus was cramped leg room and not ideal for the length of trip is the only negative. The water, snacks and bbq sunset dinner was awesome. Not once did I feel rushed. Uluru was amazing and the information and time to walk around parts of the rock and touch it, pictures and little waterfalls was well worth it. Sunset bbq I bought some local art (they have payid!) but prefer cash. Amazing talent. Bbq as I said was great, some cold beers, wine, soft drink. Awesome vantage point, great pics. Loved it and so glad to visit this special and unique place.

Amazing fun day - A few things to say... They are super professional and their busses are modern. It is a 4.5 hour drive each way, so I got back to Alice Springs at 1 AM, but so worth it. The Rock is beautiful and their guide took us all around it stopping at interesting spots to walk around. Shortly before sunset they have everything set up for a huge BBQ, we have steak.

Great tour - Tour guide was very informative and the BBQ and drinks were lovely! It's a good tour to do out of season. My tour guide was a bit lack luster with how he spoke so it wasn't as engaging for those who weren't that interested like myself.
