Well organised and professional tour with knowledgeable driver and guide - Great tour which went according to plan. It was a long day but worth it. Really amazing sight. Driver and guide were professional and provided lots of information. Sunset barbecue was nice and vegetarian food was well catered for. I only wished there were a wider choice of soft drinks beyond orange juice.

Uluru memories - A very long day but well worth it. Our two drivers Gary and Yad were very informative and patient. The coach was spacious and comfortable with phone charging points. BBQ was well organised and plentiful

I think it will be fun if you listen to it. - Australian people don't do "just in case." Isn't yelling when a busy person violently walks in? Brits were willing to stand in line, but Australians of British descent waited quietly, trying to make the line shorter. Even if you can't hear the guide's English, you should do your best to listen. It was hard for British tourists to hear either.

Uluru Tour From Alice Springs Review - Although it is about 5 hours drive from Alice Springs to Uluru it is an unforgettable experience. The driver was very knowledgeable about Uluru and it's surroundings. Dinner was very nice and the sunset was awesome.

Would do it again - Great one-day trip from Alice Springs to Ayers Rock and back. Outbound starts early and provides you with an overview of the ever-changing landscape, Uluru was presented professionally with enough time, including the BBQ at the sunset viewpoint. Travel back is in darkness- but that's OK after such a long day ;-)

A long day but absolutely worth it - Yes, it's a long day but absolutely worth it. We left Alice Springs at 7am and arrived at Ayers Rock by 12.30pm with a couple of decent toilet breaks and a chance for a coffee etc. along the way. Look out for Mt Connor along the way. Gary our bus driver was excellent throughout. We had a 40 minute break at the resort for lunch. The walks around the base of Uluru are easy and informative about Aboriginal culture and their stories. Cultural centre was disappointing - the videos are dated and one just kept pausing. A great bbq - lots of salad, pasta, sausage and steak with drinks of all kinds. Sunset is impressive, there were lots of people (several hundred) but it didn't feel crowded. Drive home from 7pm and back to AS by midnight with breaks again. Yad the guide in and around Uluru was also very good. The bus has USB charging ports for phones - a really bonus. The only flies we encountered were at the comfort break stops. We took breakfast and lunch with us and some snacks to save queueing. Ayers Rock resort is a captive market and more expensive.
