- Cayman Spirits Co. Distillery - This tour ticket grants you access to the Cayman Spirits Distillery, the Cayman Islands #1 rated attraction. It does not include transportation or pick up. The distillery tour includes a guided walk through of a functioning distillery and an informative talk about the process of making rum, from fermentation, distillation, aging and bottling. On any given day different parts of the process may be observable as this is a working distillery. In addition, the pass includes a full tasting of spirits produced on site, including Seven Fathoms Rum, the national rum of the Cayman Islands and the official rum of Cayman Airways. There are also coconut, banana, spiced, dark and more varieties to try in the Governor’s Reserve line of spirits. Distillers specials include limited availability seasonal releases, like the scotch bonnet rum, local botanical gins and more. A wide selection of locally produced items are available for sale in the distillery gift shop, including locally made pepper jelly’s and jams, rum cakes, hot sauces, t shirts and hats and the distilleries famous rum infused BBQ sauce. Please note this tour does not include transport, present ticket at distillery for entry.

Fun experience. - We had a fun experience with Athena as our guide. She was engaging and knowledgeable. We tasted a dozen, or more, different rums, then had a quick tour of the workings of the distillery. I would recommend this experience to others.

Great rainy day tour option - We did the Cayman Spirits Co tour on a rainy morning. I'm so glad we did. We were celebrating high school graduations (two 18 year olds) from the US. Legal in Cayman, not in the US, so they were having fun tasting different alcohols. The 1st thing our tour guide asked was ' who's a lightweight', which all of our group is. She made our pours lighter, which was appreciated. Non lightweights got a heavier pour. We tried about 15 different rums and the guide did an excellent job of pacing everyone to assure consumption was spaced out as to not have anyone tipsy. She engaged in great conversation and got to know everyone while telling the story of the distillery. All the rums were so good and I am not a drinker at all and was pleasantly surprised at how many I liked. The tour of the distillery is short as it is a small operation, but it was fun to do on a rainy day as we waited for the sun.

Interesting distillery - After using the GPS to locate this particular distillery we had a great experience. The staff were great, especially Athena. She was very theatrical and we enjoyed every pour she gave us.

Great experience- bring a driver or take a cab. - Athena, the goddess of rum, was energetic and delightful. She had tons of info on the distillery process and what gave each rum its distinct flavor. She also gave us mixing and cooking ideas. She was so much fun, and worked the room talking to everyone and got everyone talking to each other.

Book this tour! - If you have the opportunity to visit, don’t hesitate. Athena made this our favorite stop. The plan was to visit the distillery and then head to the beach. We didn’t make it to the beach lol. We made new friends, the atmosphere was fun and the staff was so friendly. This is our favorite rum and we’re so glad we got to visit. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Great experience onsite; bring it home with you! - Two parts to this review; the Distillery Tour and Tasting, and the actual products.
Mishka (sp?) is a wild and crazy Croat who is informative, engaging, and extremely funny for most senses of humor. Our tour was the final of the day before they had a big event off site. We easily spent over an hour going through the various offerings of rums and liquors. We had a blast in the tasting room. The tour was actually preceeded with an intro that was worked into the tasting, so when we went to see where the magic was made, it all made sense.
The product is exquisite. We ended up buying a sampler pack of 4 200ml that we chose for our taste. The liquors were also amazing. I'm not going to say anything other than both the Triple Sec and the Amaretto are easily to my taste buds absolutely peers to the top shelf versions, e.g. Gran Marnier and di Saronno.
We also bought a small rum cake for a celebration we had down island, and a bottle of pepper sauce for the kitchen back home. The cake was excellent, and the sauce is quickly disappearing.
Our small group of three was joined by a pair of sorority sisters. We met as strangers, but left as friends, bonded by a great tour and a great tasting!

The experience was very... - The experience was very informative and very fun and interactive. Miscka was hilarious. We had all of the rums that they had available as well as their special edition gins. The group that we were with was also part of the great experience would definitely recommend for anyone who is visiting Grand Cayman.

Rum, Fun, and a Five-Star Guide! - We had an amazing experience at Cayman Spirits, and a big part of that was thanks to Athena! She was incredibly friendly, polite, and made us feel completely comfortable from the moment we arrived. Her warm personality and knowledge added so much to the tour. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it made the entire visit even more enjoyable. Thank you, Athena, for making our time at Cayman Spirits so memorable!

Awesome Tour! - This tour was awesome! Misko was the best guide - so knowledgeable about some of the best rum I’ve ever tried (and super funny)! If visiting Grand Cayman, I would definitely recommend you come to Cayman Spirits!

Absolutely Incredible Experience - Misko was an incredible tour guide and the spirits were absolutely delicious. The history shared of the islands distillation of rum and spirits was extensive, fascinating and informative. Getting to see the actual coils and distillation process was the cherry on top. If you have a free hour to come and tour the Cayman Spirits Company I highly highly recommend.
