Safehaven Marina

If you have your own transportation please drive to the Safehaven Marina you will park in the first parking lot on the right side, then walk to the second gazebo. You will be able to see our catamaran with the name "BUCCANEER". Please wait at the gazebo for a member to assist you on to the boat.

A fantastic day! - While visiting our daughter, she booked us on this tour as it was recommended by a friend. We were so glad she booked this trip because we all had a brilliant time! The crew were knowledgeable and friendly, the boat was spacious and left on time and the snorkelling and visits to stingray city and starfish point were so memorable. We are visiting the island with friends next year and will definitely book again.

Up close! - Great fun on the water! Tour ran right on schedule. The highlight was seeing the stingrays and starfish up class. The friendly crew and passengers made is a great time. Highly recommend!

What a great experience! - This excursion was an awesome experience! We loved the boat ride, interacting with the Stingrays, being able to hold beautiful Star Fish and the snorkeling. We will highly recommend this excursion.

Catamaran is the way to do it - Our family had a nice time on this excursion. It was definitely worth a little extra money to have a relaxing and smooth ride on a catamaran instead of a regular tour boat crammed with people. Stingray City was VERY crowded with 4 ships in port, but it was still a good time. We held and kissed a large stingray and they took photos (for sale). The photos were pretty good so we bought them. Then we got to feed a stingray. I do wish they had brought more food, I could do that all day! Though I supposed the stingrays can't, they eventually get full! Snorkeling before Stingray City was nice and we had a little area to ourselves. I always recommend people bring their own fins, they give out masks but not fins. Starfish Point was also crowded and did not have a lot of starfish, but it had some and was a nice way to spend 20 minutes and the kids liked the starfish. The ride back to the dock was very relaxing, laying on the front of the catamaran. They provided bottled water in a cooler that was available any time and came around with fruit punch at one point. We did need to work out scheduling as they combined two groups into one because they didn't have enough for the 2nd group, but the communication was pretty good and we were in contact by phone and text as we tendered to port.

Booked for the Catamaran, bait/switch because they don't have enough people. - Booked this tour because it is a Catamaran out to Stingray City. We got off the cruise ship and found the white tent for Acquarius. They immediately handed us off to another generic boat, about $100 cheaper, and not offering any reimbursement. They said we were the only people to sign up for their tour, so they were giving us an equivalent tour. Finally got on the phone with the owner and he issued a refund. We walked to another tent and took the generic tour for $100 cheaper. If you like the idea of a Catamaran, skip this place. You'll just get pawned off on a crappy boat. It's in their agreement that they are allowed to do it and not issue a refund.

What happened? - The last time I have toured with this company, they offered smaller groups and they also took your picture and were very organized. I recently toured with them again and brought friends this time. To my disappointment, they were very disorganized with no safety briefing prior to getting in the water and now they charge you $40 to take your picture. It’s like when you go to a good restaurant and your hopes are high and the next time the restaurant disappoints.
