Portifinio - We were lucky, since the pouring rain changed our adventure and our driver was wonderful accommodating us, especially since I am in a wheelchair. We were able to get the full experience and enjoy the coast the way that we wanted it, thanks to our driver listening. It was a brilliant experience!

Excellent service - Our driver was waiting for us at the cruise terminal, and was easily identified. He had communicated with me when and where by text earlier. He was very pleasant and helpful when it came time to book our train tickets for Cinque Terre. He worked with us to develop our plan for the day that would allow us the maximum time to visit the villages and still arrive with plenty of time at the cruise ship. He communicated with us via text to show us a photo of where he was parked to pick us up.

The driver was friendly,... - The driver was friendly, kind and gave us clear directions on where to meet. He gave us a bonus tour around the city before returning us to port.

Well, our guide was very... - Well, our guide was very good and he made an effort for us to have a wonderful time. However, the tour was a bit misleading as we were told after we bought a ticket on a day that it is impossible to do 5 Terre in one day as we don’t have enough time and the road is a bit narrow and windy so they skipped 2 out of three and I had paid the full amount for 5 Terre not 3.

Beautiful Cinque Terre - We had a great time but it would have been helpful to have more information on options & what to expect. We were dropped off at the port and told to take the boat to the other cities. There are options of going from city to city or just one way to Monterosa. There are areas you can stop and swim. It is difficult to walk all of the cities due to the fact that they are up on the cliffs above the water.it was beautiful.

Overcrowded, it was a nice place now it's stressful. better destinations less popular but with fewer people - theoretically they are a nice place, the problem is the crowding. at times with my husband we seemed to be in the mail queue. now, unfortunately, the five lands of the past no longer exist, other than fishing villages. overcrowded stressful, do not go

Disappointing Private Drive to Cinque Terre ( not even a tour) - Ungirtubatekt, we were not advised properly on this yoyr. Out of the 5 towns, we only saw Manarola- for 1 hour. Driver took us to Vernazza but it is a long walk to the town and with all of us senior citizens, we can’t do the long walk uphill from the town entrance to city center. Tour operators should have advised us to take the train from Manarola to Vernazza. He knows better than us. Therefore we did not see Vernazza-😔. He drive us next to Monterosso . Half an hour later, it rained. We decided to go back to the port. Overall- waste of money and time.
Had we took the train from Manarola-Vernazza instead of driving to Vernazza, we could have seen Vernazza. Train again from Vernazza- monterosso - we could have seen all 3 horns at least .

Very disappointed - Hello,
I am requesting credit for this “shore excursion” because we paid a lot of money ($687) for a simple car transfer from the cruise port to one of the towns in cinque terre and back. This should not have been called an excursion or tour when in fact it was simply a ride to and from the cruise.
We were under the impression that we purchased a tour with a private guide (as was clearly written in the description) and were shocked when we were simply dropped off in the town by a driver who barely spoke English and then were told what time to meet for pick up. The description said the only thing not included was lunch but in the end we had to buy train tickets and figure out how to navigate the five towns unaccompanied. This should not have been termed an excursion or a tour in the description as it was basically an Uber trip! We saw many other groups going in and out of the five towns who had guides with them so being left on our own in a foreign country after thinking we had purchased a tour was rather upsetting.
Here are some of the terms that were used in the description - as you can see the phrases are very misleading.
private tour means a personalized experience
With a private guide, travel from the cruise terminal to the coastal park where you spend the day exploring four out of five villages.
Thank you for looking into this - the wording and description were misleading and this should have been termed a transfer.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I’m
