Paul’s chocolate tour experience - Our tour guide Paul was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to tour and taste several types of chocolate from local chocolate stores. Plenty of time if you wanted to purchase anything along the way. Paul also shared a piece of a traditional holiday chocolate “Breaking” which was fun!

A Delightful, Delicious, and Unforgettable Experience! - I’m This tour to Gruyères was truly one of the highlights of my trip. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and thoughtfully paced. The journey from Geneva took about an hour and a half, and our amazing guides—David and (I believe) Ivanks—made every minute fun, informative, and engaging. I’ve taken many tours over the years, but I’ve never felt such a genuine connection with the guides. Their energy, humor, and storytelling made the entire ride fly by. We began with a chocolate tasting—and wow, the chocolate was absolutely delicious! Then came the cheese tasting and even enjoyed some fondue. Afterward, we visited the charming medieval town of Gruyères, which looked like it was straight out of a fairy tale. Every corner was picturesque and full of history. And to top it all off, we took a 50-minute scenic train ride with spectacular views of the Swiss countryside. Honestly, the scenery was next-level stunning. I kept wanting the ride to last even longer. This tour was a perfect blend of culture, flavor, and scenery. I can’t recommend it enough. The company is top-notch, and the guides were simply unforgettable. Thank you for such a beautiful experience!

We had a wonderful guide,... - We had a wonderful guide, David, who was very knowledgeable about Geneva, Switzerland and France. He explained in detail what to expect from the trip, and was very pleasant and kind to everyone. He had our tickets ready so we did not have to wait and parked us close so we did not have to walk a long way. This was a fun trip and we learned a lot about chocolate and cheese. We really enjoyed tasting all those chocolates and the fondue lunch. Definitely one trip you want to make.

Superior trip with chocolate, cheese and SPECTACULAR views! - We thoroughly enjoyed our Trip Advisor tour guide from Greece! He had a great sense of humor, was very knowledgeable and personable. The tours of both Cailler chocolates and Gruyere cheese were informative and yummy! The chocolate samples were delicious and the cheese fondue meal quite tasty. We really enjoyed sharing stories with other travelers from around the world during the meal! The views at the castle were fabulous, as they were along the way on the Panoramic Golden Express train ride. Such an action packed, fun excursion!

Overall a very good... - Overall a very good excursion. We loved the chocolate factory tour & sampling and enjoyed the Gruyère cheese making & tasting with the lunch. The palace and surrounding village were worthwhile and the train through the mountains into Montreux was lovely as well. Our only negative was that our guide Normand made a few political references to his liking of Trump in America. For American tourists on holiday in Europe and trying to enjoy their vacation, his comments were very uncomfortable & unnecessary for many people in the group.
