Take the time. - Everything went smoothly and the experience was well worth it. Driver pickup and tour guide had excellent information to share. We were picked up in Sopot at 730AM and back at 130PM. 3 hours with the guide in the Castle. You could spend much more time but with the guide you see the important stuff. By starting early you miss some of the crowd and it was great to explore and take pictures with our guide.

An Outstanding Tour of the Magnificent Malbork Castle - This was an excellent tour of Malbork Castle. Our driver picked us up promptly at our hotel in Gdansk and drove us to the castle, about 45 minutes, providing interesting information about the area along the way. There was one other couple in the van. Once we arrived, our driver went in and got our tickets and then introduced us to our private guide. Since the other couple had chosen an audio tour, we had the guide completely to ourselves. She was extremely knowledgeable of the castle's history and walked us throughout the massive complex explaining what we were seeing in detail and answering all our questions. She was a delightful person. After the 2-hour tour, we were reunited with our driver and returned to our hotel. Overall, an outstanding experience!

Review of Malbork Castle Visit with My Family - Our visit to Malbork Castle, the largest brick castle in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was an unforgettable experience for the entire family. Located in northern Poland, this medieval fortress was once the headquarters of the Teutonic Knights and is a must-see for history enthusiasts. Arrival and First Impressions As we approached the castle, the sheer size of the structure was awe-inspiring. The towering brick walls and massive gates make you feel like you've stepped back in time. The castle is situated on the banks of the Nogat River, providing beautiful views that add to its charm. Exploring the Castle Grounds Once inside, we were able to explore the castle at our own pace. The complex is vast, with several sections, including the High Castle, Middle Castle, and Lower Castle. We started by wandering through the impressive courtyard, where we were immediately taken in by the towering walls and sprawling layout. The High Castle, which housed the grandest rooms, was a highlight. We marveled at the intricately detailed walls and beautiful frescoes that remain preserved despite centuries of wear. It was fascinating to imagine what life must have been like for the knights and rulers who lived here. The Museum Exhibits One of the most impressive aspects of Malbork Castle is its museum. Inside, the exhibits are well-curated and informative, giving us insights into the castle's history, the Teutonic Order, and medieval military life. Our kids especially enjoyed the displays of weapons, armor, and the detailed models of the castle at different stages of its development. The Grand Refectory and the chapel were two other highlights. The chapel’s stunning architecture and peaceful atmosphere were incredible, and the refectory’s long tables evoked images of medieval feasts. Activities and Guided Tours We opted for a guided tour, which was a great decision. The guide was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing fascinating stories and legends that brought the history of the castle to life. Our children enjoyed the interactive parts of the tour, like exploring the underground chambers and hearing about the knights’ daily lives. For those with an interest in history or architecture, this castle is a treasure trove of stories. There were plenty of opportunities to ask questions and learn in depth about the castle’s role in the history of Europe and the Teutonic Knights’ rise and fall. The Surroundings and Views The castle’s location next to the river is perfect for taking in the surrounding scenery. We spent some time walking around the outer walls, which offered beautiful panoramic views of the river and surrounding landscape. The entire experience felt like a journey through time. Family-Friendly Aspects Malbork Castle is incredibly family-friendly. The paths are mostly easy to navigate, though there are some steps and uneven surfaces in certain areas, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. The kids had a blast exploring the castle, and there are several spots where they can imagine themselves as knights or royalty. There are also small areas with interactive displays to keep younger visitors engaged. Conclusion Our visit to Malbork Castle was an unforgettable family experience. The combination of its stunning architecture, rich history, and family-friendly atmosphere made it a perfect destination for all ages. Whether you're a history buff or just looking for an adventure, Malbork Castle offers something for everyone. I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Poland – it’s a real gem!

Great historical structure and history. - The whole thing was memorable from the founding by the Teutonic Knights through its usage over the centuries and it's restoration from WWII and the Russians. I think the place was the highlight of our visit to Gdansk. Based on its construct dates and look the buildings are mostly Gothic. The scenery on the way down and back was interesting too.

Alhambra in Northern Poland right next to Wolfs Lair''s - Loved it, my sherpa was excellent, painted great history starting first half of Xll century, brutal Teutonic Order vs peasants of pagan old Prussia who refused Christianity and NATo, wonderful red brick castle, biggest in the World as per UNESCo, bigger even than Carcassone Castle. I will refer this to all my friends"😊

Informative and entertaining - I considered taking the train from Gdansk to Malbork and seeing it myself, but I'm so glad I didn't. The driver was a fun and charismatic guy who knew so much about Gdansk and everything on the way to Malbork, and our tour guide was even more so. Every single room in the castle has a history, and she gladly told us all about it. This was the perfect tour.

Looked the best tour, but i was disappointed - When I booked this tour, it was said to be 5-6hours duration. We were collected by shuttle, then 50mins drive to the castle. I was excited for the tour - but it was only for 3 hours!! Very disappointed in this. While in Malbork, this was my chance to get the full knowledge & experience of the castle while here... but it fell short! May I suggest your guides speak into a device that projects to our handheld devices? (Like Neuschwansteincastle have - so much better!) - so that we can hear you in the cavernous rooms with other louder voices. We all had to stand closer & closer to the guide to hear above some booming voices, then no chance for photos. There was a delay then, so we could take photos. Some areas were not told us as we walked past, that I had to ask about. I wished for the remaining 2 hours of the tour, or at least a refund for the unused portion..

MALBORK TRAVEL - "Getting Lost" in the World's Largest Castle :-D - Malbork Castle was one of the places that impressed me the most among the places I have visited that can be counted on the fingers of one hand. As you know, Malbork Castle is known as the "largest castle in the world". Especially if we are going to a place with such a wonderful reputation, talking about our tour gets very exciting. Even though I went with a group of about twenty people, I almost returned alone because I got lost there! The only point I deducted was due to this situation, which showed my complete surprise. Instead of following the group, I followed a small baby and could not find them. I sent a message to my friend saying "I'm lost, where are you?" and luckily he had a camp guide with him at the time and was able to figure out where I was from the photo I sent him. Is it a bad thing that I got lost there? No, I don't think so. On the contrary, it is a sweet memory that I keep telling everyone about. When I returned to the group, they applauded me, saying "The sea has been found"... Is it possible to go to Malbork Castle and not be impressed! Even seeing the building from the outside is enough to leave your mouth open. There are restaurants and souvenir shops outside the castle. The garden is also quite large. There's no need to ask what's inside anyway 😂. I advise! But be careful not to get lost :-) It is possible because...
