You will stop on a secluded beach to hunt for fossils, taste a wild foraged marine herb and have a beach fire where you will get to toast marshmallows!
Our active seal populations and resident cetaceans move around South Devon and can be observed on many of our tours. Our seals fish and bask in the sun at their favourite haul outs that we pass and observe them from our boats.

In the autumn and spring bring active walking clothes or waterproof trousers if you have them on colder days. Excellent 3 hour kayaking tour on the Devon Coast - Kieran was an excellent guide. His enthusiasm for the geology and wildlife was infectious. He tailored the excursion to the ability of the group (small group, fit paddlers). Our paddle was during a record breaking high tide, so some of the caves were to dangerous to enter, but Kieran brought us back latter in the trip to try again, and he found plenty of things to keep us well entertained. At our beach break, he showed us how to find ancient Devonian fossils of tube worms and coral, then started a fire and we roasted marshmallows! We saw a large variety of bird life, including Peregrine falcons, and cormorants. No marine mammals, possibly, as the tide was so high. He had all the special equipment you might need: dry bags, waterproof phone cases, kayak ‘skirts’ and foul weather gear (which we didn’t need). He has thought of everything and knows the area very well, being a lifelong resident. I highly recommend this trip, and I look forward to a return visit. Thanks again Kieran!

Memories not to forget. - This was an amazing experience, fully recommended this to anyone who loves wildlife, water and exploring. We were so fortunate to see 2 seals up close and have a common seal swim beneath the kayak. Our tour guides were brilliant, very informative and made the trip really personal.

Amazing experience! - We had such a wonderful time! It was our first experience kayaking.. the staff were brilliant and 'rescued' myself and my daughter by towing us part the way as evidentially we weren't amazing at the paddle aspect haha! The tour was interesting, beautiful and staff couldn't do enough for everyone! Would definitely do again and would recommend to everyone. Fantastic.

Amazing fun and educational too! - My 4 kids and I had a brilliant time kayaking. Kieran is a great guide - friendly and knowledgeable. He made the instructional parts easy and brief to maximise time on the water and gave us interesting facts about the local history/geology as we were making our way along the coast, into caves and looking for fossils. We saw some interesting wildlife too - seals, peregrine falcons and lots of seabirds. Although the weather wasn't great on the day, we still all enjoyed our time there and would definitely do it again.

Fantastic Experience! - This was a birthday treat for my brother who lives locally. Kieran was welcoming on arrival and made us feel at ease. We were a double and single kayak. The whole trip lasted 3 hours and Kieran explained the history of the area and the rock formations really well. Going into the caves was a great experience and one that we would not have done on our own. Unfortunately we didnt see any seals, but that did not stop us from having a great time. I would thoroughly recommend this activity.
