My thoughts - I went there with my uncle today for the taster session and we thoroughly enjoyed it, I already have a bit of experience with climbing but it was my uncle’s first experience with climbing and he did great with it, especially with help from our instructor Karl who was very helpful and down to earth, I would also recommend the high ropes for anyone looking for something more casual.

Great fun - I went with two boys of 11 and 8. It was great fun and the instructors were excellent: encouraging, kind and very clear to follow their instructions. This place has never disappointed me.

Great experience - This was so much fun on a rainy day during our holiday. Simmo looked after our safety and is a great person to have around. Would highly recommend this.

Great Birthday Party - Attended for my daughter's 9th birthday party with 6 friends. They enjoyed a climbing taster session and the outdoor high ropes plus tea in the party room. Facilities and instructor, Simo, we're fantastic and the girls had a wonderful time.

A fun, inclusive and confidence-boosting experience! - My 11 year old took part in the climbing taster session as a last minute rainy day activity whilst on holiday. The place had come highly recommended and we were not disappointed. A chilled but friendly welcome on arrival before donning the harness. The session is structured so that there is very little hanging around as jobs are given to each participant and the importance of team work, trust and responsibility is taught. Keeping group sizes small gives a personalised feel to the session. Varied levels of difficulty and a degree of choice is available. Karl, the instructor, was clearly very experienced as a climber and instructor, gaining respect through his fun but professional manner. Lots of praise and encouragement was given to all climbers. My daughter is autistic and can struggle with team work and interaction. This was perfect for her as she had to trust the other members of her group and being responsible for the rope was great for her confidence. The fact that the session came without pressure or high expectation and without forced interaction meant it was a huge, huge hit. Great fun for those wishing for a one off climb but also a great starting place for those considering taking climbing up as a hobby and wanting to progress. Thanks for a great afternoon!

Incredible visit! - Absolutely incredible experience! We shall definitely be returning! Kyle the instructor was Absolutely amazing with my boys, helped them through the nerves and was extremely patient with us all! The staff was absolutely amazing! 10 outta 10

Great climbing experience for all abilities - My 16 & 18 year olds (who have been bouldering lots of times) found this challenging and really fun. The instructor was friendly and gave some great tips as they went through the routes. We’ve done various activities with Rock & Rapids as a family and they have always been fab.
