Fun time - Wanted to try a coaster wanted one close to the cabin so we could walk. Staff was friendly but Pete really stood out (other places we went in Gatlinburg should hire Pete as a staff trainer) coaster wasn’t busy and we joked with Pete that we’d probably go pretty slow. He asked if we were scared we said well don’t know for sure. He bumped the group behind us up and set us behind them. After they took off he gave the other group a head start, then sent my wife, he had a nice chat with me while he gave her a huge head start. That was nice and his estimate was perfect I caught her 80’ from the finish line. Good call and thanks Pete!

Fun, scenic, and just the right amount of thrill! - The views as you're riding down are really something, especially with the trees around—it feels like you’re weaving through nature. The coaster itself is super smooth and you get to control the speed, which is awesome if you want to go fast or take it a bit slower. It’s not too intense, so it’s perfect for pretty much anyone looking for some fun without it being too crazy.

lots of fun - Very much like the alpine slide I've enjoyed at Ober Gatlinburg, and these types of tracks are everywhere in the area. You can control the speed of your coaster for the most part.

Let's do it again! - That was a lot of fun! Any age would enjoy this and anyone afraid of heights shouldn't have an issue with it. The staff is very friendly and the ride is enjoyable.

We recommend the unlimited pass. - We went for the unlimited day pass, and the kids really loved it. The operator in the morning recognized us when we came back at night . He jawed at our teenage boys a little bit, and they loved the banter. We really appreciate the effort to make them all feel comfortable.

Fun, Affordable Attraction - We enjoyed the Moonshine Coaster. It's an affordable experience for the whole family. You can control the speed of your coaster, which is appealing to all ages - the teens wanted to go fast while the younger ones preferred going a bit slower. There wasn't much traffic on the day we went, so we didn't have to wait in a long line. The staff was very friendly, and we felt really safe on the ride.

A fun ride but much shorter than most - After riding a majority of the mountain coasters in the area, this one was our least favorite. The loading process is very slow and the actual track is short compared to the others. Parking was difficult as everyone is trying to squeeze into tiny spaces and the actual lot id very small. I would suggest this for the beginner mountain coaster rider or families with small children but for those of us that like to go as fast as possible from the top of the ride to the bottom, there are better choices.

DO NOT GO HERE IF LOOKING FOR GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE - I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Moonshine Coasters in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, primarily due to the unprofessional behavior of Beth, the manager. As my family was leaving, we were shocked when Beth began yelling at us from the balcony, demanding that a car be moved, even though it did not belong to us. She threatened that the car would be towed if it wasn’t moved immediately. The aggressive and unnecessary way she communicated left us feeling unwelcome. After being treated so rudely, we decided to request a refund for the second ride we had paid for but no longer wanted to experience. Beth’s attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, and at one point, she told us, “I don’t have to give you a refund.” Her lack of customer service skills and basic courtesy was astonishing. Beth’s behavior not only ruined our experience, but it also drove away other potential customers. We witnessed families turn around and leave after seeing her yell at us from the balcony. One family even stopped us to say they would not spend their money here and that the way Beth acted was ridiculous. This kind of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and I strongly urge upper management to reconsider who they have in such a customer-facing position. A manager should represent the business positively, and Beth’s actions are doing the exact opposite. Moonshine Coasters could be a great place to visit, but not with someone like Beth running the show. As Beth, the manager, said herself, she did not care about a bad review or customers leaving. If I could give zero stars I would!! All bc of BETH THE MANAGER!!
