The entire experience duration from time of arrrival to departure is 4 hours, you will spend around 2 - 2.5 hours at sea depending on shark activity.

Our business offers a unique Hookah Shark Cage Diving excursion that provides an unhindered visual experience of diverse shark species and other sea creatures.
Our distinct hookah shark cage diving journey is personalized to cater to a maximum of 12 participants, thus providing more time for cage diving.
Prior diving experience is not a requirement, as the air source on the boat employs compressed air (excluding nitrox) for divers to breathe easily through a regulator located just beneath the water’s surface.
- Sightings of shark species are not guaranteed, given the unpredictable nature of marine life. If you don’t encounter sharks during your tour, we don’t provide refunds. However, we offer no-shark vouchers, valid for 2 years, enabling you to return for another trip at no extra cost. Please be aware that this voucher doesn’t include transportation.

Amazing Shark Cage Experience from start to finish! - Excellent trip by a great crew of people on board. Very knowledgeable with a passion for conversation as well as providing an amazing experience with the sharks for everyone. Got to see over 10 sharks and some dolphins. Food provided was top and welcomed straight off the boat! Would defo recommend!

11/10 Shark Diving Experience - Had a fantastic time at White Shark Diving Co.
Was able to see about 10 bronze whaler sharks, and 1 7-Gill shark
A fantastic crew that made us feel safe, and excited throughout the day. They also arranged a pickup and drop off from our AirBnb in CapeTown which made planning that much easier.
Would recommend to anyone interested in cage diving!

Amazing day out - Having done the tour with this company back in 2011 we decided to to go with them again as the first time was an unforgettable experience. This time time it was no different. First trip out and there were sharks a plenty. While there were no great whites this time round there were plenty of copper sharks which made for an unforgettable experience. The team on the boat were brilliant. The hookah dive was amazing too!

Bucket list checked - This was an amazing experience.Was a bucket list item and was blessed to see sharks on my dive.The admin team(Amanda and Lauren-Lee) kept in contact and answered all questions that we had. The crew on the day was absolutely great, they ensured we were comfortable with all the information we needed, they assisted us during the dive and was so helpful. It was nerve wrecking at first but I enjoyed it so much that Il definitely do it again. The hookah dive is also worth the money spent as we was able to enjoy the dive more. It was a birthday month and we also received a slice of cake with lunch saying happy birthday. It was appreciated that the team took note of this. Thank you for the experience. I would recommend white shark diving to people that would like to experience this as the team is great, the equipment is also clean and of good quality.

Fantastic safe shark experience - I had a fantastic cage dive experience with this company. They picked me up from my accommodation in Cape Town and delivered me back for a very reasonable price. The whole process worked like clockwork. The team followed all the safety procedures and looked after us all very well. They made sure we had a great experience. The food was very welcome afterwards. We saw loads of big copper sharks. Memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you.

Fantastic experience! - A fantastic experience! The crew were so friendly and accommodating whilst also ensuring our safety was the priority. As great white sharks are endangered you are very unlikely to see them however we still saw several different sharks which were breathtaking! Delicious breakfast and lunch as well. Would 100% recommend!

Change the name of this place. - The first thing I suggest would be change the name of the business until White sharks are back in the area. I paid for the hookah dive and realized after the shark dive it was never offered to anyone to do, although we discussed during the brief before the dive. The water is very cold, you have to understand this before selecting the dive. I was with people who were shivering while attempting to dive with the sharks. The wind was terrible on the water. The crew was pretty good although one of the marine biologists kept telling folks the longer they were in the water the better they would feel in the wetsuit. That is not the truth at all. The water was freezing my feet and others expressed the same sentiment. The crew chummed and chummed and after a few hours we finally saw our first shark. There were other boats who appeared to find some sharks. There crew personnel discussed that the sharks have their own minds do not always cooperate, which I understand, but the other boats around us seemed more successful for finding them. Now the ocean didn’t give much as far as how clear the water was, which definitely was not the crews fault. It was pretty expensive day to just see 3 sharks and and a seal. Just a suggestion, no need for a debrief after excursion to try to sell a video of the dive. People that didn’t need a transport back to the hotel just left. I know they want to sell a video, but to call it a debrief of what we just experience was not necessary in my opinion. Again most of staff very professional and that’s why I gave them a three star evaluation.

Very disappointed - Unfortunately we had a really disappointing experience which led to us not travelling with this company.
I contacted them 2 months before our trip about the best opportunity to see great whites. We were in regular contact about sightings and other information, at no point was the possibility of a trip cancellation due to low numbers (not enough profit) ever mentioned. I understand that sometimes trips can't run due to weather conditions or other reasons but low occupancy was never mentioned.
We booked our entire trip around our shark experience, including hotels, other activity bookings and car hire. We were in contact in the run up to our date, again no mention of low occupancy or the trip not going ahead. Less than 24 hours before our trip we were contacted to say that there were only 4 people booked and a minimum of 6 was required. This left no time for us to change our arrangements or to book anything with another company. We were offered another location with White Shark Divers but I'd totally lost faith in them by this point.
I'd avoid this company, their lack of transparency and honesty in communication has left a really sour taste to an otherwise amazing trip to Capetown.
