Samba City is a big complex of warehouses with brown color located 100 meters from AquaRio. Please enter from the main entrance on Binário do Porto avenue. We will meet inside the Samba City under the smaller tent in the middle of it - look for guid with Carnaval Experience colorful T-shiert.

Excellent experience - A unique behind the scenes experience of the Carnival floats and costumes. Learned about Carnival and the competition among Samba schools. Getting to try on the costumes was so much fun.

Fantastic tour! - Unforgettable experience! We Witnessed the creation of stunning Carnaval floats and costumes at Rio's Samba Factory, this is a one of a kind tour! The Carnaval Experience - We had a wonderful time learning about.the history of Carnaval and all that it represents. Our guide was engaging and very knowledgeable in giving us the backstory of the enormous amount of time, sweat, and labor that goes into the production.

Fun activity - Fun afternoon learning more about carnival. Enjoyed seeing floats being built and trying on costumes and trying out samba. A well organized entertaining outing.

A great Samba experience - It was a very good tour I would recommend to everyone who will visit Rio. The staff was great and gave us full knowledge of how the carnival is prepared & celebrated. After the tour we wore costumes & also learned to dance Samba.

Very informative - We learnt a lot about the history of samba. In particular, we saw the construction of some floats to be used by one Samba School in 2025. At this section, we could not take any pictures. There were sections we were allowed to take pictures and even try old carnival costumes. They brought professional samba dancers to show us a few moves, which was fun. After that, we went to a small gift shop where some drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) awaited us. It was a fun experience but I felt rushed through it all. Maybe, due to the time of year? Also, I would have loved to have seen the musicians practice the samba live!

Fun for some - Using the lift instead if the stairs and watching the construction work. Not many completed floats to see. I thought it was boring. However the other 30 participants seemed to have a great time.

Interesting tour in Samba City - All in all, I can recommend the tour as it was very interesting to see how much work and love is put into the Carnival of Rio! I was a bit unlucky with some of the other tour participants and also our guide probably didn't have the best day of his life - but you should still give it a try if you want to find out what carnival in Rio is all about!

Enjoyed the bit we were able to attend - I'm sure the full program was remarkable. We only saw the last 45 minutes as we were dropped off at the address I gave the Uber only to find out we still to walk. No problem but we were already late. The group leader pinned me the location but said Done when we arrived only to find out we were on the backside of the building. Finally found it. Please have a look at your location and correct. Thanks
