• Kylemore Abbey & Victorian Walled Garden - Enjoy a leisurely walk through the historic Kylemore Abbey, constructed by Mitchel Henry in 1868 for his wife Margaret and their family. Admire the Victorian decor and listen to an audio narration about the Henry family’s life. Take a shuttle bus to explore the Victorian walled gardens, spanning 6 acres of stunning flowers and plants. Visitors also enjoy visiting the 14th-century style neo-Gothic church that Mitchel built for Margaret. Don’t forget to visit the gift shop to purchase delightful sauces, jams, and chocolates crafted by the Benedictine nuns who have resided at Kylemore Abbey since the early 1900s.
• Connemara National Park & Visitor Centre - Embark on a hike up the scenic Diamond Hill in Connemara National Park, which stands at 442 meters tall. The hike can take between 1 to 3 hours, depending on how far you wish to ascend this magnificent hill. Most visitors prefer a one-hour hike.
