Wonderful Day Tour of Connemara - We had a memorable day touring the Connemara area. Our guide from Lally Tours was a wealth of historical and folklore information and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It truly is a beautiful area and it exceeded our expectations We definitely recommend doing this tour with Lally Tours.

A lot packed into a single day - We had an enjoyable day with Michael providing a lot of historical perspective along the way. The castle, the Cliffs and the Sheep Dog exhibition were all really nice. The only downside (and this was no fault of the tour) was the rain as we were watching the dogs round up the sheep. But all in all, it was a fun day.

Lakes and mountains in Connemara - Mike drove us down the Wild Atlantic Way in Connemara. Beautiful County, with beautiful views nestled between green hills and blue skies. Not even rain can ruin these landscapes. Mike was very adept at making us spend the hours on the bus in a familiar and fun atmosphere.

A must do hike and tour. A wonderful company!! - Amazing views, drive and the park is gorgeous. big thanks to our wonderful guide and driver Seán for sharing his knowledge and love of Ireland and for making our day so enjoyable. Highly recommend making your way to the top of diamond hill as the views are spectacular. If you have time left, grab local oysters and mussels at Veldon’s seafarer- exquisite!

A day in Connamara - Our driver was Ian and our fabulous Tour Guide was Barry. Both gents were awesome- lots of great information and humour along the way. Very available for questions or any help needed. Always aware of safety. Barry, in particular, was spectacular in his knowledge and engaging presentation. I would highly recommend this day trip.

Awesome hike and tour! - Loved the tour to the Connemara National Park and Diamond Hill hike!! We were blessed with great weather so that helped. It was a tight squeeze to fit in two hours but we hoofed it and managed. The tour with Nicole and driver Ian were exceptional- informative and friendly and well with the price. Highly recommend!!

Connemara National Park Tour Review - I’m SO glad that I booked this tour because it was such a fantastic way to get to Connemara National Park from Galway and also explore some of the surrounding areas. Macpara (my driver/guide) was sensational. He was lovely to chat to and he made sure that I fully equipped to hike up to the Diamond Hill Summit during my time at the National Park (he even lent me his windbreaker jacket because I didn’t pack one!). I can’t recommend Macpara + this tour enough if you’re looking for an excellent outdoor activity whilst staying in Galway 😊

Lovely day in the Irish countryside - Very nice trip, particularly due to our driver/guide, Mr. MacDarta. He gave us a full history of the area, as well as pointing out many interesting features that we’d not have known to look at. He managed time very well, stopping at various scenic points along the way and being very clear to everyone on our bus about what times we needed to be back on the bus. This made the trip run very smoothly. Although timing was tight with only 2 hours at the park, we were able to do a good hike and still had time for a light lunch at the cafe. Our only criticism is that in your description of the hikes available, it would be best to note that the longer 2 routes involve some very steep, rocky patches. So although the length of these routes is not long, they can be technically challenging depending on the person’s ability. For those who want a smoother surface, the shorter hiking routes are best.

Bus sick and overwhelmed - If it was not for the bus, it would have been wonderful. The bus was hot and I felt a little sick. The commentary was good but could have been 50% less. Sean talked the whole time.
