Wonderful crew - The crew were so kind and patient with the children. They let them come into the steering room to sit in the captains chair.

Our guide, Pavel, gave us a very nice day: enough explanations, clear agreements, nice (photo) stops. Thank you so much! - The connemara is incredibly beautiful, the weather was beautiful, and we had a very good guide.

Five stars: spectacular cliffs, perfect weather, and an easy day from Galway - Five stars: spectacular cliffs, perfect weather, and an easy day from Galway We took this Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher day cruise on 9 May 2026 and had perfect weather, which made the experience even more memorable. Blue sky, bright sun, and enough breeze to remind us we were off the west coast of Ireland. The ferry ride itself was a highlight. The boat made a relatively close, slow pass by the Cliffs of Moher, giving us plenty of time to take photos and really appreciate the scale of the cliffs from the water. It was awesome and did not feel rushed. On Inis Mór, the largest of the Aran Islands, there were plenty of sightseeing options. We chose to walk to the Black Fort and back, and we were so glad we did. The Black Fort felt like a hidden gem, with dramatic ocean views and an unforgettable landscape of limestone rock. On the way back, we still had time for lunch at Bayview Restaurant and sweater shopping at Aran Sweater Market, which made the island visit feel relaxed instead of hurried. This was a terrific full-day experience from Galway: scenic, well-paced, and especially memorable if you get lucky with the weather.

Smooth seas - A little confusion at the docks. Wasn't clear which ferry was the one we booked. Once we sorted out that we were in line for the correct ferry going to Inishmore, all went smoothly. Ferry crew were great. We sat inside but the views were fine through the big windows. Comfortable seats. On the return trip, the Cliffs of Moher were amazing. Captain turned around so both sides of the ferry got good views. Seemed like a long, slow ride. Thought perhaps they were conserving fuel??

Great day trip! - It is a slow cruise to the Island but very much worth the trip. Expect to spend the day and hope for some sun on the beaches and throughout the hikes. Definitely do try the horse and buggy carriage which gets you back to the dock well before the boat departure.

Nice - Nice boat ride but didn't get the audio guide. Did a hop on hop off tour once I got to the island. (that wasn't included)

Bring dramamine if the weather is bad - The crew on board the ferry was wonderful and very attentive. Unfortunately, the crossing was quite rough due to weather and many passengers were quite I'll. Once on the island, the views were beautiful but we found there was more to see and do when we visited Inisheer on a previous trip.

Rocky Ride - This is a small boat and the waves toss it around like it’s nothing. Be prepared for an unsettling, rocky ride. Aran island and the cliffs are beautiful but it’s not worth the anxiety.
