The Great Storm Talk and Tour - This tour begins with you being guided through artifacts in the Galveston County Museum and includes seeing footage by Thomas Edison’s moving picture machine (the aftermath of the storm in Galveston was actually the first newsreel!) and then being guided around downtown buildings and being told their stories! Chilling aspects are seeing coroner notes on the discovered dead and artifacts on display that could identify them to loved ones. And maybe still could? Who knows! Take this tour! The magnitude of this horrendous event will come alive for you!

A must DO!! - Our guide was outstanding. Extremely knowledgeable and eager to share her knowledge with us. She was kind and checked in with us often, as we walked about. I would recommend this tour to everyone who visits Galveston Island.
