It's okay. - The service was great above expectations. Both the outward and return transfers from Rio to Abraao were punctual as well as the directions arrived5e the evening before the service as scheduled. Also were available in trying to change the return transfer time

Frustration with communication - Really struggled with these guys. We booked a round-trip from Rio to Ilha grande. Whilst the outbound was easy and on time, the driver was great and the transport was fantastic, we had a lot of problems organising the return leg. The biggest problem with these people is that they don’t communicate and you cannot get through to them if you have any queries. And whilst it all worked out in the end with no issues, when you’re on holiday as a couple looking to have a stressfree holiday, you don’t want to be thinking about these small issues. I must’ve contacted the top transfer WhatsApp number eight times. Furthermore, once we finally do get in touch with them, and everything was on track. I decided to request a transfer from Rio airport and to get a private fat to Buzios. We were dropped off at the airport from our initial round-trip booking, and we have absolutely no idea where to go to meet our private driver to buzios. It just created more anxiety and stress. In the end , someone contacted us at the exact time and told us where to meet them. If the communication was better and you could contact them nice and easily, they get a five star . Because of their communication issues, I drop it to 3/5 Unfortunately, I will not be booking through this organisation again .

On time, but like all - The trip to Ilha Grande, all good: they gave advance notice of what time they would pass, they were punctual, we got quickly to the point where the boat was leaving and, a few minutes later, we were already on the Island. Regarding the return, rather embarrassing. In principle, they warn you that they are not responsible for delays resulting from (consistent) traffic. However, most of the delays seem mostly oversold or similar. The boat was due to leave at 10am and had a delay of just 15 minutes. But on that boat we started only half the people who had hired the service. The other half had to wait at the dock for an hour and the rest had to wait in the van until the rest arrived. As a result, the trip took more than an hour and a half just because of the negligence of the company that oversold its water transport capacity (it seems that they own the vans, but are associated with another company that has the boats). The journey, which in a normal situation would have taken less than 3 1/2 hours, took almost 5. The bad thing is that it would seem to be common to all transport companies. My recommendations to make it all light are: 1) turn around at the earliest time and go to the dock at least 45 minutes in advance. They ask to arrive with 20 minutes, but arriving with that anticipation maybe after you have to wait more than an hour at the dock because you only get 50 people an hour. 2) if you have the return by plane, return from the island at least one day in advance. Do not miss a flight because of the punctuality of the company.

AVOID - Late and misscommunication - The pickup process was an absolute nightmare. The driver was THREE HOURS late, and there was ZERO communication. I sent 15 messages begging for an update, and got ignored every single time. We were actually packing our luggage into the Uber we had called because we had completely given up—still no response from them. Then, they finally replied, only to tell us we had to walk to some random spot for pickup, even though they had promised to come directly to the hotel. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs.

Pitiful - EMBARRASSING, we had a Transfer from Rio to ilha grande (expected travel time 4 hours) we had to be picked up at 9am in front of our apartment, our van they planned arrived two hours late to move a few kilometers to the city center (which with any uber you can do comfortably independently) here waiting for us was a second bus on which we were stuck for another 3 hours without having a valid reason from the driver (probably waiting for some luggage of passengers that could not be transported due to lack of space in the van). From here we left 5 hours late heading to the great without food or water. Effective travel time 9 hours. Service not working.

Awful. - A disaster!!! The transfer left an hour earlier than I had been informed and I only arrived in time because I decided and go ask when arriving. They do not give their own service, they hire InBuzios and we had problems on the road, the driver dangerously drove the van had no air conditioning and I wrote to them for help and they never responded, the next day, when they gave me answer only they told me that they will talk with the partner so that it does not happen in the future but before an emergency they do not respond. I do not recommend them at all!!!!

INCOMPETENT COMPANY - I do not recommend the company to anyone! SHE MADE US GET EMBARRASSED IN THE CASE. We bought the transfer back and forth Abrão- Ilha Grande, to go with an ANGRA FLEX boat. When we presented the ticket, we were informed that there was no confirmation from TOP TRANSFER and, initially, we were not allowed to board. After saying we would do a B.O., the company received a confirmation and let us in the boat. Now, they said we should confirm the return even if we have the payment voucher.

Really bad experience - Do NOT book with this company. We booked a trip from Rio to Ilha Grande. Departure at 12h. Few weeks after booking the trip was postponed by the company with 45min. At moment of arrival in the airport in Rio (pick-up location), we got a text estimating pick-up time at 2pm (which was still acceptable for us, as in the voucher a time window was given). However at 2pm, we got a text the driver would be 'a few minutes' later... After another 30min, we asked where the driver was. Then we got a text the driver would be late for another 50min! We waited patiently. But only at 4.20pm the driver came: more than 4h after the initial booked pick-up moment. Afterwards, we still had to pick-up other people and drove around in Rio for another 1.5h! So we left Rio at little before 6pm... When finally arriving in the harbour close to Ilha Grande, where normally a ferry would be: it was already 8.30pm, completely dark and abandond. (Last ferry leaves at 6.30pm.) We were passed on to a 'middle man'. During this whole time, we had little or no information as the driver and middle man could not speak English. Also the company dit not give much information. Just the text: 'We were informed that the ship has already embarked. Thank you for your patience and have a good trip.' Seriously? Finally, al little before 9pm, we were put on a small speedboat, without life vests in stormy weather, and driven by a teenager, to go to Ilha Grande with the rest of the people of our van. Really scared and not save. Thank God we made it to Ilha Grande alive.
